Another Christmas card today and another Tim Holtz Blueprint Tree.
This time I stamped onto Joanna Sheen's Elegance Satin card stock and coloured with Spectrum Noir Illustrator pens. I used papers from my First Edition Silent Night Paper Pad and the remains of the inky background that I used for my Snowman card - I distressed and inked the edges of the image and papers. The sentiment is another from Kirsty Wiseman

Blueprint Christmas Tree
This is my first Christmas card of the year, I have posted a few earlier in the year but they were all created last year. I have been watching tutorials on YouTube and came across one created by Shari Carroll using the Tim Holtz Tree Blueprint and decided it was time to use the one that I have in my stash.
I would like to enter this card into the February Rudolph Days Challenge.

I coloured my tree with distress inks and added some clear sparkle pen to the baubles, star and die cut sentiment - I think this card would be perfect for one of those difficult men in my life.

Antiquites
I am sharing another card today that was created using the Craftwork Cards Antiquites Collection. This is a beautiful vintage collection.
I cut the squares from one of the patterned papers and inked the edges. The lovely butterflies were fussy cut from another of the patterned papers, I cut two of each for some of them so that I could adhere one flat and just add glue to the body of the other one to create dimension.
The sentiment is also from the collection, I added some distress ink to continue the vintage style.
I hope everyone enjoyed the bank holiday weekend - back to normal today. Thank you for visiting my blog, please leave a comment so that I can come and visit you.

Newsprint Poinsettia
I have another Christmas card to share today, I hope you are not getting fed up with Christmas cards.
I've used the Craftwork Cards Christmas Past Paper Pad, these are lovely vintage papers - I have inked the edges of everything to keep with the vintage feel.
The lace border is a Fiskars Punch and I created the Poinsettia with Sue Wilson Dies. I cut he sentiment from one of the papers and added some Candi to embellish.
Thank you for visiting my blog today, your company is much appreciated.

Autumn Harvest
I discovered this card that I forgot to post, I know it's a bit late for Autumn but there are still lots of leaves on the trees and we've only just stopped picking runner beans and courgettes!
I used the Graphic 45 - Seasons Collection, all I have done is lightly distress and ink the edges of everything,
There is lots of my favourite fussy cutting and I have used foam pads to add some dimension.
Thank you for visiting my blog today, your company is much appreciated.

Birthday Flowers
This is the first card that I have created with this months Craftwork Cards November Stamp Club stamp set.
I used papers from the Vintage Dreams Paper Pad and coloured the stamp with my Spectrum Noir Illustrator pens. I lightly distressed the edges of everything and inked them with Distress Inks.
I stamped the flowers and leaves from this months stamp set and several previous stamp club stamp sets. I fussy cut them and layered some of them up for dimension.

Sorry it's Late
I have created this card with another Debbi Moore download, this one is quite different from yesterdays though! I love cutting out all of the different elements and then deciding how to arrange them on the card.
Everything on this card is from the download, all I have added is a card blank, foam pads and glue.
I fussy cut all of the elements and then inked the edges.

A wonderful holiday
Matt and Hannah went on holiday to Cyprus recently and Matt asked me to make a layout using a couple of their favourite photographs.
I used papers from the Sara Davies Shabby Chic Signature collection and created some die cut flowers using some Tattered Lace Dies - the leaves are a Sue Wilson die. I die cut the Cyprus letters with a Memory Box die, I cut them twice - once from pink and once from green so that I could inlay them. I also inked the edges of everything with Distress Ink.

Best wishes on ...
This is the card that I made for my eldest son to give his girlfriend on her 21st Birthday - he likes shabby chic/vintage designs.
I used papers from the Sara Davies Shabby Chic Signature collection along with a Crafter's Companion die.
I have inked the edges of everything and layered the butterflies up for dimension. The sentiment is from the DigiStamp Boutique cut out with a Spellbinders die. I also decorated the inside of the card.

I used the stand up numbers from Anna Marie Designs and papers from the Sara Davies Shabby Chic Signature Collection.
After adhering the papers I sanded the edges of everything and inked the edges with Distress Ink.
The butterflies are from a Crafter's Companion die, the flowers, gems and ribbon are from my stash.

Made with Love
I have actually managed to make another card with my Love from Lizi August card kit in August - I have never managed to use a kit in the month that I received it before!
Again everything used to create my card is from the kit with the exception of the Kraft card stock, some buttons tied with twine and some distress ink.
The 'made with love' die is part of the kit, I cut it from both red and gold card stock and inlaid the gold die cut into the negative space on the red card stock before cutting it out with my Sizzix heart die.
Thank you for calling today, your company is much appreciated - please leave a comment so that I can come and visit you.

Leafy Accents
This is my second card for this weeks Less is More Challenge - it's one layer card week and the theme is Leaves.
I used a Clearly Besotted stamp to create this card. I heat embossed it with white embossing powder and then applied distress ink.
I tried to create a neat edge but messed it up so I cut it out with my Tattered Lace Peach Sorbet Square die and then cut a panel from my card front using the same die so that I could inlay my image. The sentiment is a Craftwork Cards stamp.
I would like to enter this card into the Less is More Challenge 319 - One Layer Card - Leaves.
Thank you for calling today, your company is much appreciated.

Leaf Print
It's one layer week over at Less is More and when I saw that the theme is Leaves I decided to do something that I used to do with my children when they were small - Leaf Printing.
I picked a leaf whilst out for a walk and inked it up with two different green distress inks, I then placed it on a card base, placed a piece of scrap paper on top and pressed it down firmly.
To complete my really CAS card I just added a Craftwork Cards stamped sentiment.

Anyone for Golf!
It's time for a new challenge at Ooh La La Creations and the theme for the next fortnight is For a Man or Boy.
I have used a topper and papers from the All Dressed Up CD again, this time I have used one of the masculine collections.
I cut the golf topper out with an oval die and created a layer of decoupage. I added distress ink to both the topper and the papers to create a more vintage feel. The sentiment is from Kraftwork cards and I made my own card candi.
Make sure you pop over to the Ooh La La Creations Challenge Blog and check out the DT inspiration, we would love for you to join us for our For a Man or Boy Challenge.

Foliage
We have a very happy house today, my eldest son has just received is A Level results and they were brilliant, better than he had hoped for and he now has his University Place guaranteed for 2015 - he is taking a year out this year to earn some money and already has a job lined up.
Anyway down to business - this is my card for this weeks Less is More Challenge, it's the dreaded One Layer week and the theme is foliage.
I struggled with this one, no surprise there then, but I eventually came up with this card.
I have used Peeled Paint and Shabby Shutters Distress Ink to sponge through a stencil and then added Translucent Embossing Paste. This is my third attempt, I didn't clean the Distress Ink from the stencil on the first attempt and I was a little heavy handed with the embossing paste on the second.
This one is not perfect but I am quite pleased with the result, except it has not photographed well. The sentiment is from Pink Petticoat and I masked it before adding the ink and the embossing paste.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Less is More Week 184 - Foliage
The Pink Elephant Challenge 263- Stencils
Clear It Out Challenge - Theme: Embossing wet or dry, Stash: Embossing Powders/Stencils
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my blog and leave a comment, your company is much appreciated.
