This is a sneak peek at one of the sample cards that I have made for the Ooh La La Creations shows that will be on Hochanda this Thursday.  Our very own Lynn will be presenting and demonstrating three fabulous Ooh La La Creations CD Roms:

I used the Shoes in Bloom CD to make this card.

I have used one of the fabulous decoupage images called Christmas Poinsettia.  I printed an extra sheet so that I could add an additional poinsettia as an embellishment.

The ribbon and sentiment are from my stash.

Rosette Heart Wreath

I'm sharing another of the projects that I made for Simply Cards & Papercraft using the gorgeous NitWit Ooh La La Collection.

I used my Tim Holtz Paper Rosette Die and a 1” Circle Punch to make the rosettes, I just added a pearl to the centre of them and used hot glue to adhere them to a heart frame.  The sentiment is also from the Ooh La La Collection.

Celebrate with Sound

Before I share my card for today I have some exciting news - I have been invited to join the CD Sunday Design Team.

You all know how much I love CD crafting and I have been entering the CD Sunday Challenge ever since I started making cards so I'm really excited to be joining this fabulous team.   My first challenge will be in two weeks time but there is a new challenge starting today, Lets go Lilac so make sure you pop over and check it out.

This is another of the cards that I made for last months Making Cards Magazine. I was asked to created nine cards using the Free CD containing 127 Men's Themed Printable Craft Papers. I was only allowed to use the images & papers from the CD with just a few basic items - not easy when you are making nine cards, at least there are lots of images to choose from though.

This is a great image for those difficult teenagers, I think it would be OK for a boy or a girl.

The image and papers are from the CD, all I have added are a Clearly Besotted stamped sentiment and some card candi.

Chloe with Flowers

It's time for a new challenge over at A Gem of a Challenge and the theme for the next fortnight is WEATHER (pick ANY season), I chose summer.

I used one of Janet's new Card Topper Digi Kits called Chloe with Flowers available in the Pink Gem Designs Shop.

I added a couple of extra layers and fussy cut some additional flowers.

I popped my scalloped card base through the printer to make it pink and then embossed it with my Die'sire Floral embossing folder.  The sentiment is also from the kit.

Fleur Delis

This is another of the cards that I made for Simply Cards & Papercraft, I used the gorgeous NitWit Ooh La La Collection.

This one is a little different from the ones I shared previously, I think the black background makes it quite dramatic.  I used my Tim Holtz Paper Rosette Die to make the rosette and the sentiment is from Hero Arts, everything else with the exception of the pearls is from the Ooh La La Collection.

Football Crazy

Say Cheese!

This is another of the cards that I made for last months Making Cards Magazine. I was asked to created nine cards using the Free CD containing 127 Men's Themed Printable Craft Papers.   I was only allowed to use the images & papers from the CD with just a few basic items - not easy when you are making nine cards, at least there are lots of images to choose from though.

I love this image, if you teamed it up with some pretty papers you could also make a feminine card with it.

Westie Walkies

It's time for a new challenge at Di's Digi Designs and the theme for the next fortnight is For the Boys.

I chose to use this fabulous image called Westie Walkies and some papers from NitWit Collections to make my card.

I coloured my image with ProMarkers and added lots of layers to my design.

La Tour Eiffel

Let's Party

Have you got your copy of Creative Stamping Magazine yet!  I'm sharing another of the cards that I was commission to make using the free We Love Music stamp set, it contains 28 exclusive designs.

I was asked to create five cards using the free stamp set along with the 14 co-ordinating digi stamps.

For this card I used the music note stamp from the stamp set to create a background and the record stamp from the co-ordinating digi stamps.

The sentiment is from the stamp set, I cut it apart so that I could arrange the words on top of each other, it is easy to put them back together again if you wish.

The patterned paper is from the Echo Park Everyday Eclectic paper pad.

I have an unopened set of the stamps that I will be giving away later in the week so make sure you check back.

Christmas Robin

It's time for a new challenge over at A Gem of a Challenge and the theme for the next fortnight is Flowers, I decided to use Poinsettias for my flowers.

I used the fabulous Robin Bauble Card Topper Digi Kit available in the Pink Gem Designs Shop.

I have used a Collar Stand, I made my own from gold card stock this time, along with the topper element from the kit.

I printed the topper sheet several times and fussy cut some extra poinsettias so that I could layer them up.  The sentiment is also from the kit and the ribbon is from my stash.
