Scrapping4Fun Winners Challenge

I was lucky enough to be a finalist in one of the Scrapping4Fun May - August challenges and have been invited to participate in the 'Winners Challenge'.

We were all given this sketch to work with

I decided to make a card using Graphic 45 papers and an image from the Nicecrane Designs Children at The Seaside collection:

I have used Kraft card stock and lots of distress ink.  The little banner is a Die-namics die cut and I added some buttons from my stash.

Autumn Leaves

It's time for our mid challenge reminder at the House-Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge, this fortnight our theme is: Autumn/Fall hosted by Heather - you can also enter a card with an anything goes theme as long as you use a House-Mouse, Happy Hopper or Gruffie image that will be fine.

I have used a fabulous image from one of Joanna Sheen's House-Mouse Autumn stamp sets and coloured it with ProMarkers before cutting it out with a Lawn Fawn stitched rectangle die.

My papers are from NitWit collections and I have used Kraft card stock.  My sentiment tags are LOTV stamps and the ribbon and pearls are from my stash.

Ooh La La

It's time for a new challenge at Ooh La La Creations and the theme for the next fortnight is Use a Bow chosen by Michelle.

I have used an image and papers from the Ooh La La Creations Yesterdays's Memories CD to make my card.

I really must get more organised so that I can photograph my cards before it gets dark, they look so much better when photographed in natural daylight.

This gorgeous image and papers come from the Ooh La La Creations Yesterdays's Memories CD, Ooh La La Artwork Set, I used an Impression Obsession stamp to stamp the stripes onto the orange paper.

I tied a messy bow with black seam binding and added some feathers, a stick pin and some pearls from my stash.  I used the decoupage image, you can just about see some of the layers in this photograph.

Blooming Lovely

First Love

It's time for a new challenge at Paper Creator's Crafts and the theme is Use A Charm - Paper Creator products are not essential but we love it when you do use them and you will gain an extra entry into the random draw.

I have made a card using the adorable First Love Ultimate Kit, everything on my card came from the kit except the Kraft card stock, ribbon and charm.

The kit includes:  Backing Papers, Ultimate Graphic with decoupage layers (just re-size to suit your project), Build A Topper in small & large (designed to work with cutting dies or to be handcut), Sentiment Stamps plus more - make sure  you pop over to the Paper Creator's Shop and check out the fabulous kits and mega deals available.

Halloween Chloe

Have you seen the new Chloe Topper and Treat Box Kit in the Pink Gem Designs Shop - Halloween Chloe, I couldn't resist having a play and this is what I have made.

The kit contains everything you need to make an 8" x 8" card and treat box, it includes decoupage pieces, matching insert, gift tags and additional sentiments, all ready to print and make - you can of course re-size everything if you wish.  Full instructions are included for the treat box.

I cut out the decoupage layers and just added some purple card stock and a scalloped card base to make my card:

This is the lovely little milk carton treat box, I just added a little purple bow:

Birthday Girl

My inspiration for this card came from Kitty Frampton's cards in Making Cards magazine.  She used images and papers that came with the magazine but I decided to get my Crafter's Companion Humphrey's Corner stamps out and stamp my image and colour it with ProMarkers.

I added lots of glitter to her dress and wings and some 3D Crystal Lacquer to the star on her wand and gems on her crown.  I used Kraft card stock and the papers from the magazine along with the sentiment from the Humphrey's Corner stamp set cut out with a Spellbinders banner die.

The scalloped border is a Fiskars edge punch and the ribbon is from my stash.

Penguin Pals

I have used one of the adorable new LOTV images called Penguin Pals, I used ProMarkers to colour my image taking my inspiration from Mary Johnson's cards in this months Simply Cards & Papercraft magazine.
