CAS Hollyhocks

This is one of the cards that was recently published in Simply Cards & Papercraft, I was given the NitWit Collections Bundled Hollyhocks Collection to play with - such a beautiful collection of papers to work with.

I created a total of six projects and this is the simplest design of them all - everything used to make this card is part of the kit with the exception of the card base and digital sentiment.  I used  a Spellbinders die to cut the scalloped border.

Winter Robin

This is the Christmas card that I made for my Mother-in-Law, I used a decoupage image from Craft Creations and Papers from NitWit Collections.

I added quite a few layers of decoupage as this card did not need to be posted.  The sentiment is computer generated and I added some pearls from my stash.

Another two ...

Party Time

These are two of the cards that I made for my eldest son's Birthday, this first one was for my Mum to give him - one of his presents was a watch.

I used a Hunkydory kit and decorated this inside of the card as well.

This second one was for my younger Son to give his Brother, we saw this Hunkydory kit on TV and he thought they were cool so I decided to make this one for him.

Favourite Five Christmas Cards

Vintage Car

Holly and Poinsettia

Snowman Sledge

It's time for a new challenge at Di's Digi Designs and the theme for the next fortnight is Anything Christmas.

I chose to use the cute Winter Snowman Sledge image and some papers from my Ooh La La Creations The Shawn Jenkins Collection CD to make my card.

I decided to go a bit vintage with this card and used white paint to distress the edges of everything, Kraft card stock and some corrugated card from an old box.

The sentiment is a Marianne CrafTables die and the snowflake die was free with a magazine. The ribbon is from my stash.

Festive Robin

This is another Christmas card made with a Hunkydory Kit, I love Christmas cards with a Robin on so lots of my cards feature them.

Everything is from the kit except the gold Mirri and some gems.

I also decorated the inside of my card.

Golden Bows

This is another card that I made using one of the gorgeous images and some of the papers that came with my Making Cards magazine a while back.

I have kept things quite flat again because this card was for my Mum to send one of her friends and was posted, I just raised the image and Pink Petticoat sentiment a little with foam pads and added a few gems.

Snow Hugs

This is the final one of my Pink Gem cards that was published in last months Making Cards Magazine. I used three different Card Topper Digi Kits for my cards - this one is called Blue Igloo Bears and is available in the Pink Gem Designs Shop.

I used Christmas Sparkles and Chevron digi papers also from Pink Gem Designs.

Christmas Robin

I make at lease one Christmas card using this gorgeous robin image every year, this one is for my Mum to give to her best friend.

I have used an image and papers from my Joanna Sheen - The Jayne Netley Mayhew Collection Part 2 CD. This card will be hand delivered so I was able to add lots of decoupage layers, it is not actually a decoupage image on the CD so I print it out multiple times and cut my own.

I also decorated the inside of the card.
