Perfect Papillon

I have another card to share today, I have used my Crafter's Companion Sara Signature Vintage Butterfly collection again, I seem to be using all of the blue toned papers!

I cut the hexagons with my Gemini Stitch Edge Hexagon dies, I inked the edges of them before applying them to the card base using foam pads.  I used the large butterfly again and added a sentiment from Hunkydory, I cut several layers and adhered them together.  To finish my card I added some small die cut hearts.

In Flight

This is another card that I have created using the Sara Signature Vintage Butterfly collection from Crafter's Companion.

I am trying not to buy anything more from Crafter's Companion, I'm so fed up with their abysmal Customer Service, orders routinely take anything up to ten days and more often than not something in every order will be missing, damaged or incorrect - they do always refund without any quibbles but that's not the point, it is very disappointing.  I resorted to leaving a comment on Sara's Personal Facebook page a couple of weeks back and guess what, all of my orders arrived the next day, they still had incorrect items and items missing though!

Anyway, this is the card that I created, I used the 3D Embossing Folder from the collection with one of the papers, I added some gold gilding wax to highlight the embossing and around the edges.  I used the large butterfly again, only two layers this time.  The sentiment is one that I have had in my stash for a while, I think it might have come from a magazine, I cut it out with a die from the Tags and Tickets that are in the collection and added gilding wax around the outside.

Butterfly Dreams

I've had the Sara Signature Vintage Butterfly collection for a while now and decided it is time to get on and use some of it.  These collections always look stunning when they launch them but I often have problems when I come to use them!

I decided to create a shabby chic card so I distressed and inked the edges of some squares and adhered them to another of the papers, also distressed, using foam pads.  I cut all three layers of the large Butterfly and added that to the card along with a stamped sentiment and some small circles that I added 3D Crystal Lacquer to.

Nautical Birthday

I have created this card for a family friend's birthday, he used to work in the yacht building industry so I thought this image would be perfect.

I used the Stamperia Sea Land paper collection, this is a gorgeous vintage nautical themed set.  I used several of the papers and fussy cut some bits and pieces from the front cover.  The sentiment is from The DigiStamp Boutique and I have inked the edges of everything.

I used one of the papers and fussy cut the notebook pieces to decorate the inside of the card.

Autumn Harvest

I discovered this card that I forgot to post, I know it's a bit late for Autumn but there are still lots of leaves on the trees and we've only just stopped picking runner beans and courgettes!

I used the Graphic 45 - Seasons Collection, all I have done is lightly distress and ink the edges of everything,

There is lots of my favourite fussy cutting and I have used foam pads to add some dimension.

Dad

This is another of the cards that I made so that my Son would be able to choose which one he wanted to give his Dad - this is the one that he chose.

I used a piece of cardboard packaging, I just stripped back some of the outer coating.  The papers are from my stash with a torn edge, I also added distress ink to the edges of everything.

I saw this design on Pinterest, I'm sorry I can't find it again to link to it - I had the JustRite Stacking Sentiment stamps so I decided to CASE it.

I coloured the string to match and decorated the inside.

Thank you for popping in today.

The Chef

We are not having a challenge at Paper Creator's Crafts this month, we will be having a DT call soon so make sure you check back.

I decided to create a card anyway and used elements from the fabulous The Chef 6x6 Card Kit to create this masculine themed card.

The kit includes a pyramage image as well as a decoupage image - I decided to use the decoupage image, no surprise there then!  I used the envelope papers for my base layer and two of the other papers in the collection for my plain panels.

The sentiment is also part of the kit, I inked the edges of everything and added some hand made card candi.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Love is ...

I'm sharing a card that I have made using items from the fabulous Polkadoodles Belle Papilon Paper Craft Kit.

I used papers from the 6 x 6" Paper Pad, I trimmed the butterfly sheet around the butterflies before distressing and inking all of the edges.  I then layered it onto another of the beautiful papers also with distressed and inked edges.  I cut some additional butterflies from another sheet, layered them up for dimension and added some sparkle.

The sentiment is from the CD, there are over 500 unique elements on it (no elements are repeated in the papers or stamps).  To finish my card I added die cut corners and a bow from the Ribbon/Gift Frames and Corners Die.
