Just a Note

I create this little post it note holder using the new Hunkydory USB.  There is lots of variety on this USB - flowers, boys, girls and animals to name just a few.

I used a small topper and a small piece of card stock to create this little stand for a post it note pad and pencil.

Isn't it nice now that the days are getting longer, getting up when it is light is so much easier than when it is still dark.

Trinket Box

I have been using up some of my old stash for a change! I used the Dovecraft Couture du Jour collection to create this trinket box.

You can find a card that I created with this collection HERE.

I inked the edges of everything and used two of the decoupage images I also used papers from the 8" paper pad.

The sentiment is from the co-ordinating stamp set, I stamped it on one of the papers and fussy cut it.

I also lined the little drawer with one of the papers.

Village Life

This is another card created using the new Hunkydory Country Days Collection, this time I used one of the Deco-Large card kits.

You can find more projects created using the Country Days collection HERE.

I decided to layer up the Deco-Large image on the outside of the card front so that you can look through the aperture at the image on the inside of the card.

There are lots of layers to the decoupage giving great dimension to the image.  I just added a sentiment from one of the topper sets.

My husband came across an acronym yesterday that he thought suited both him and me, he is a modeler, he builds a variety of different things from, cars and trains through to Warhammer gaming models.  The acronym is SABLE - Stash Accumulated Beyond Life Expectancy, have you heard it, it definitely applies to me!

Vintage Fashion

I have been using up some of my old stash for a change!  I used the Dovecraft Couture du Jour collection to create this card.

I inked the edges of everything and layered up the decoupage image with foam pads.  I also used papers from the 8" paper pad and a sentiment from the co-ordinating stamp set.

The little accordion heart also comes with the collection, I carefully removed the button and threaded it with twine, before sticking it back on - I really do not like bare buttons.
