Best Buds

I have been playing with one of the gorgeous Printable Card Toppers from Pink Gem Designs, this one is called Best Buds and comes with two fabulous sentiments and some decoupage layers.

I have made two cards, this first one has been made using the kit just as it is, I printed it, cut it out and layered it up.

The only thing that I added was an embossed layer of card stock.

For my second card I have printed the sheet out a couple of times, one a little larger than the others and added extra layers separated by card stock.  I have attached each separate layer using foam pads.

I also cut a couple of extra layers of decoupage.  The only thing that was not included in the Card Topper kit is the card stock.

It's a Stitch Up

Sadly this is going to be my final challenge with Winter Wonderland - we have my Mum moving in with us soon and my crafting time will be considerably reduced. I hope to still make lots of cards but I don't want the pressure of DT deadlines. I would like to say a huge thank you to the Winter Wonderland team for letting me play along with them and for their support and friendship.

 The theme this week is:

It's a Stitch Up (Real or Faux Stitching)

Don't forget you have to make a Christmas card to enter our challenge,

I have used the fabulous 'The Most Adorable Snowmen' image from The Paper Shelter who are our sponsor this week.

I cut my pre-coloured image out with a Simon Says Stamp Stitched Square die (that is my stitched element) and used the papers that come with the image.

The sentiment is from my stash and the snowflake is two Simon Says Stamp Snowflake die cuts glittered and layered up.

This week we are sponsored by:

The Paper Shelter who are offering the winner a $15 gift certificate.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Inspiration Destination Challenge 29 - Always Anything Goes
Natalie and Amy's Challenge 31 - Frame It!
