A Recipe Challenge

It's time for a new challenge at Winter Wonderland and this week we have a recipe challenge for you - we would like to see 3 snowflakes, 2 papers and 1 image on your projects. I have used a fabulous image from Crafter's Companion who are our sponsors this week and papers from Dovecraft.


The sentiment is a LOTV stamp and my snowflakes are a combination of Spellbinders Snowflake dies with a gem in the middle. I used a Fiskars punch to create the border.

I have decorated the inside of my card using the same papers and design.

These boots .....

It's time for a new challenge at Crafting for all Seasons and our theme for you this time is 'Make it Girly'.  I have made a card using a fabulous image called Honey from Saturated Canary our sponsor for this challenge.

I have coloured her with a combination of FlexMarkers and ProMarkers, the card stock is Core'dinations and the papers were free with Quick Cards.

I punched the border and die cut the corners and flowers, the pearls are from my stash.

Butterfly Wishes

There is a brand new challenge over at Clearly Besotted and I couldn't resist making a card for it, the theme is Anything Goes but you must use a Clearly Besotted product.  I decided to use my Butterfly Wishes stamps and dies.


The papers are My Mind's Eye and the wooden button and string are from my stash.  I have torn some corrugated card stock and used distress inks for my butterflies and for the pink outside edge.

Faithful Friends

This is the card that I made my Dad for Father's Day, the minute I saw this decoupage sheet in Joanna Sheen's Jayne Netley Mayhew Summer Collection I just knew that it was perfect - we always had a Jack Russel when I was growing up and they are still my Dad's favourite dog.


The gingham paper is from Bearly Mine Designs and the floral paper is from Joanna Sheen's Jane Shasky CD, I have used Kraft card stock and punched a border with my Fiskars edge punch.

Young Love

Good morning, I hope everyone is well and enjoying the new week. We have a new challenge for you at Bearly Mine Designs and this week our theme is - Flowers Galore.

I have used a fabulous LOTV image along with gorgeous papers from the Bearly Mine Designs Summer's Roses and Gingham collections and made a Birthday card.


I have made a frame for my image with Spellbinders circles dies and the corners are also Spellbinders die cuts.  I punched a border with a Fiskars edge punch and the sentiment is a LOTV stamp.  The flowers, ribbon and gem are all from my stash.

Mousey Love

This is a rather sad post for me today as this is my final GDT card for the House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge, I've really enjoyed making my House Mouse cards and have been made to feel so welcome by the DT - I'm really going to miss them.

The theme for this fortnights challenge is - Anything Goes - Use a Charm.  Make sure you pop over to the House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge blog for more details and to check out the fabulous DT inspiration and great prizes.

My card is an anniversary card for my husband, i'ts a bit soppy but I think he'll like it.  The image and floral papers are from Joanna Sheen's House Mouse Triple CD Collection and the dotty papers are from Bearly Mine Designs.


The 'Happy Anniversary' sentiment is a LOTV stamp on a spellbinders ribbon banner die cut and the 'With Love' sentiment is a Flonzcraft stamp on a LOTV Tag.  I used my Cheery Lynn Designs Burlap Border to cut the dark blue border strip from the same card stock that I have used for layering.  My little charm with the sun on it is from my stash.

As usual I have decorated the inside of my card using the same papers and layout as the front.

Red and White Christmas

It's time for a new challenge at Winter Wonderland and this week we would like to see Spots and Stripes on your Christmas creations. I have used a LOTV die cut square and papers from Bearly Mine Designs.


The sentiment is a LOTV stamp on a Spellbinders Ribbon Banner die cut and the snowflake is a combination of Spellbinders Snowflake dies with a gem in the middle. I used a Martha Stewart punch to create the border.

I have decorated the inside of my card using the same papers and design.

Purple Julia

It's time for a new challenge at Ooh La La Creations and the theme this time is 'Buttons & Bling', you don't have to use an Ooh La La Creations product but we love it when you do.

I decided to keep things quite simple again and have used a fabulous image and papers from the Ooh La La Creations  -  All Dressed Up CD, you can purchase it from the Ooh La La Creations online shop.


I have layered everything onto black card stock from my stash and punched the border with my Fiskars edge punch  The sentiment stamp is from Flonzcraft stamped onto a CREAlies die cut and the flowers, buttons, twine and gems are all from my stash.

You brighten my life

This is the card I have made using an adorable image from our sponsor this week - Cupids Clear Stamps

Faithful Friends

This is my entry for this weeks CD Sunday Challenge, the theme is 'Faithful Friends' and because it's the first challenge of the month the winner will be able to choose a CD of their choice from Ooh La La Creations.

I have used an image from the Ooh La La Creations Faithful Friends CD, this was one of the cards that I made for the Create and Craft Launch of the CD back in April that I never got around to blogging.


The image, papers and sentiment are all from the CD, I have backed everything with dark brown card stock and cut a border with a Fiskars border punch, another CAS design - most of my cards seem to be turning out this way at the moment!

I have decorated the inside of my card using the same layout and papers.

Vintage Rose

Good morning, I hope everyone is well and enjoying the new week. We have a new challenge for you at Bearly Mine Designs and this week our theme is - Dies and/or Punches.

I have used a beautiful image from Joanna Sheen's Jane Shasky CD along with fabulous papers from the Bearly Mine Designs Vintage Fantasy and Mini Dots collections and made a Birthday card for my eldest son to give to my Mother who is 85 today.


I have mounted the decoupage image on a Cheery Lynn Lattice die cut and made a frame with a Spellbinders Labels Eighteen die.  The sentiment is computer generated and then cut out with a Spellbinders Ribbon Banner die.  I have inked the edges of the papers, the die cuts and the ribbon with distress ink.

I have also decorated the inside of my card to complement the front, you can also see the many layers of decoupage in this photograph.

Some like it HOT!

This is  my third GDT card for the House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge and the theme for this fortnights challenge is - For a Male.  Make sure you pop over the House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge blog for more details and to check out the fabulous DT inspiration and great prizes.

My card is for one of the boys to give my husband, he loves to cook and we grow chili peppers in our green house so this image seemed ideal.


The papers are from Joanna Sheen's Royal Horticultural CD and the decoupage image is from Joanna Sheen's House Mouse Food and Drink collection, I have used black card stock from my stash for the base.  I used some red corrugated card stock and some black string from my stash.  The sentiment is a LOTV stamp on a spellbinders ribbon banner die cut inked with distress inks.  The little chili pepper embellishments have been cut from the backing paper and glazed with 3D Crystal Lacquer.
