It's the first of the month and that means a new challenge at Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra, our theme is always 'anything goes' - you can use any materials, any techniques etc., as long as the end result is a Christmas card.

I have used the fun image called Rudolph Stars kindly provided by our regular sponsor - Bugaboo.  I coloured my image with Spectrum Noir markers and added  3D Crystal Lacquer to his nose and the stars.  My papers are from my scrap box along with the sentiment.

I've Moved!

Those of you that visit me regularly will know that my Mum moved in with us recently, this is a couple of the cards that I made for her to let her friends know her new address.

The images are from Pink Petticoat, coloured with Spectrum Noir pens and the papers are a variety of scraps that I have left over from other projects.

I have kept the design simple and flat for posting.

Humphrey

I'ts Friday and I thought that as I have recently joined the Crafter's Companion Design Team I would share the very first card that I ever made using a Crafter's Companion image and pop over to Erika's to share an oldie.

Clematis

It's time for a new challenge at Craftng for all Seasons and we have a 1-2-3 Recipe for you this week - 1 image, 2 papers and 3 embellishments.

I have used a gorgeous image from an Ooh La La Creations CD for my card, it is an Off Centre Pyramid image.

The papers also come from the Ooh La La Creations CD, the sentiment is computer generated and I have added a seam binding bow and three pearls.

I used the same papers and design to decorate the inside of my card.

Birthday Wishes Nan

It's time for a new challenge over at A Gem of a Challenge and the theme is Flowers chosen by Kelly.

I decided to use one of the Card Topper Digi Kits called With Love to make my card.

Everything you need comes in the kit, including decoupage layers, sentiments and an insert.

I cut out the decoupage layers and built them up using foam pads, I also added extra card stock between the layers of patterned papers.

I have used the matching insert to decorate the inside of my card.

A Wall Hanging

For another of my DT samples I decided to make a wall hanging with one of the Fabric Companions from the new Crafter's Companion Destinations CD.

I printed out the Fabric Companion, cut it into three equal parts and inked the edges before adhering it to my base which was made from mountboard.  I also added some additional elements from the CD to embellish - you could also use it as a small notice board.

Clown Duo

This is the final card that was in last months Making Cards magazine, I used the Kidz Clowns Mini Set from Bugaboo and papers from Nitwit Collections.

I coloured my image with ProMarkers and added Wink of Stella glitter to the sentiment.

This is one of the samples that I made using the fabulous new Crafter's Companion collection called Destinations that is currently the 4 Day Deal on Create and Craft.

This is one of the Trinket Boxes that can be found on CD 2.

There are a selection of different ones that you can make and everything you need is on the CD.  I printed mine onto Crafter's Companion White card stock and used Collall Tacky Glue to make it up.

I used elements from CD 1 to decorate my box.

Wild Times

Something a little different today, I have made this card as a little reminder about our challenge over at Paper Creator's Crafts , the theme for this challenge is Animals.

I have used the fun Wild About You - Quick Card Front Set to make my card, the actual file is a Pyramid Decoupage image but I decided to make mine into a traditional decoupage.

My first Pop Up card

As soon as I saw the Suitcase Templates on CD 2 I knew that I wanted to make a Pop Up card and this is what I came up with.

Destinations Sneak Peek

This is an Address Book and is one of the many brilliant projects that can be found on CD 2, I apologise for the dark photographs.

Penguin fun

It's time for our mid challenge reminder at Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra, our theme is always 'anything goes' - you can use any materials, any techniques etc., as long as the end result is a Christmas card.

I have used the fabulous image called Little Penguin Winter - decorate tree from our regular sponsor - Bugaboo. I coloured my image with Spectrum Noir markers and added some glitter.

I decided on a CAS design for this cute image and just added a small strip of paper from the Carta Bella So This Is Christmas Paper Pack along with a smaller strip of matching card stock.  The sentiment is from the same paper pack.
