21 Again

My eldest son asked me to create a 21st Birthday card for a friend of his and this is what I came up with.

I used some very old papers from my stash along with some dark blue card stock.  The 'happy' is a Tim Holtz die and the 'BIRTHDAY' was made using my Memory Box Alphabet Tile Letters, they are actually square but I decided to trim them into a different shape.  I used some old number dies that I have lost the packaging for and added some hand made card candi.

Thank you for popping in today and thank you for all of the lovely comments that you leave - they are all read and very much appreciated.

Elegant Decorative Heart

I'm sorry that I haven't been around the past few days but my husband has not been at all well, he's still not quite better but he is getting there.

This is another of the cards that I created for the recent Crafter's Companion shows on QVC in Germany, this one uses the Decorative Heart again.

I decided to go for another elegant design using red and white Centura Pearl, I added a computer generated sentiment and some hand made card candi.

Bright Decorative Hearts

This is another card that I created with the new Crafter's Companion Decorative Outline Dies, Debbie Fisher launched them on QVC in Germany this week, this one features the Decorative Heart Die.

I cut the heart from three different sticker sheets and arranged them on white panels that I backed with more sticker sheets.

I have a rather ill husband at the moment, that means no Christmas preparations at the moment, hopefully he will be feeling better tomorrow.

Thank you for popping in today, your company is much appreciated.

In Flight

This is another of the cards that I was asked to create for the Crafter's Companion shows on QVC Germany.  Debbie Fisher will be on at 4 pm CET and again at 8 pm CET on QVC2 with the fabulous Decorative Outline Dies.

I used the Blule Tit die along with papers from the Crafter's Companion 12 x 12 Printed Paper Pad - Vintage Florals, the sentiment is computer generated - I hope I got my German right.

Bright Roses

This is another card that I created with the new Crafter's Companion Decorative Outline Dies, Debbie Fisher will be launching them on QVC in Germany this week, this one features the English Rose again, you can find the other card that I shared yesterday HERE -   I wanted to show the flexibility of these dies with two very different designs.

I used white stamping card stock along with some pink mirri card stock and some bright sticker sheets.

Elegant Rose

I was asked to create some cards featuring the new Crafter's Companion Decorative Outline Dies for some shows that will be on QVC in Germany this week, this one features the English Rose

I decided to go for an elegant design using red and white Centura Pearl, I added a couple of little tags and some hand made card candi.

It's a lovely bright, sunny day today, I will be walking to the post office later to post some cards for a magazine commission, I will probably take the scenic route on the way back and then retire to the craft room to make some Christmas cards.

Sending my Love

I had a little play with my Die'sire Quilling dies when I created this card, they are very easy to use and create some lovely, dimensional flowers.

I used papers from Sara's Sew Lovely Signature collection along with an older sentiment die.

I had my first Christmas Dinner on Friday at the pub that we go to most Friday lunch times, it was really nice - not long to go now and I still haven't finished my Christmas cards!

Christmas Robin

This is the Christmas card that I have created for my Mum this year, I'm quite safe to share it as she most definitely will not see it here.

I have used a Hunkydory Designer Deco Large topper and card stock, it is from one of their older releases.  I added sentiments from The Paper Boutique and some gold mirri card stock.

There are lots of fabulous decoupage layers, I have not used quite all of them and I printed a verse on the card stock from the collection to decorate the inside of my card.

Grand Chandelier

This is an easel card that I have created with some Crafter's Companion older Dies.

I decided to create an easel card because I think it suites the elegance of the dies.  I just used some black card stock and gold Mirri card stock, I cut the dies from the black card stock so that the gold shows through.

Ramsey had his staples removed yesterday and he has healed nicely, he has a rather large scare on his leg though!

Floral Wishes

I have a bright and cheerful card to share today, I have used a selection of Crafter's Companion Die'sire Dies along with papers from Sara's Sew Lovely collection.

I created the flowers with Crafter's Companion Quilling dies and added some ribbon from my stash.

Some of my friends have been asking how Ramsey is doing, for those of you that don't know he cut is leg last week and had to have 10 staples in it.  He is doing really well, he hasn't touched the staples at all and the vet was very pleased with him at his check up on Tuesday, he will be going back next Tuesday to have the staples removed.
