Discover your Dreams

I have created this card with the same Debbi Moore download that I used a couple of days ago.

Lots of my favourite fussy cutting again - I have inked the edges of everything and used foam pads to add dimension.

I had great fun playing with these downloads.

Thank you for popping in today, please leave a comment so that I can come and visit you.

Sorry it's Late

I have created this card with another Debbi Moore download, this one is quite different from yesterdays though!  I love cutting out all of the different elements and then deciding how to arrange them on the card.

Everything on this card is from the download, all I have added is a card blank, foam pads and glue.

I fussy cut all of the elements and then inked the edges.

Thank you for popping in today, please leave a comment so that I can come and visit you.

What we see ...

I have created this card with a Debbi Moore download, there are lots of toppers, sentiments, papers and bits and pieces to print and cut out.

I have inked the edges of everything and used foam pads to add dimension.

I really enjoyed cutting out all of the different elements and deciding how to arrange them on the card - this really is the type of crafting that I enjoy.

Seaside Memories

I have created this card for the CD Sunday Challenge - the theme is Sun or Sand or Sea, I think I've just about managed to cover all three!

I have used a topper and sentiment from the Debbi Moore Designs Inspiration Magazine, the papers are from the Shabby Chic Seaside CD.

I fussy cut the starfish and layered everything up with foam pads. The sentiment has been attached using some string from my stash.

I would like to enter this card into the CD Sunday Challenge - Sun or Sand or Sea.

The last one ...

This is the last Father's Day card I will be making this year, this one is for my youngest son to give his Dad and he chose the image.

The fab car decoupage came from Debbi Moore's 'Cards for Men' CD, the spotty papers are from Docrafts 'The Good Life' collection and the others are all from the Debbi Moore CD.  I have layered everything onto black Core'dinations card stock including the sentiment tickets which are from one of my Bearly Mine Designs Designer Extreme CD's (I'm not sure which one because I just loaded all three onto my laptop and organised them into colours).  The only embellishments are brads from my stash and the three buttons that were made using my Epiphany Shape Studio.

This is the inside of my card decorated to match the front:

Doodle It!

It's time for a new challenge at The Crafty Pad and this week the theme is 'Doodle It', well as those of you who know me will realise - I do not do doodling - so this one was not easy for me.

This is the card I eventually made:

I used two of the images from The Crafty Pad 'Dress Form Trio' and the sentiment is from The Crafty Pad 'Sewing Sentiment Tickets' set.  The backing paper is from Debbie Moore's Shabby Chic Haberdashery CD and the card stock is Onyx Stardream from Joanna Sheen.  I have distressed the edges of the papers, images and sentiments with weathered wood Distress Ink and added a seam binding bow and some buttons to embellish.

I have also decorated the inside of my card with the same papers:

This week we are sponsored by MeiFlower

who are offering one lucky winner a £20 voucher to spend in their online store.

So get out your pens and add some doodling to your project - it can be some faux stitching, some scribbles - anything you like - as long as you take a pen to your creation somewhere.

Paper Crafting Journey Challenge 9 - Black + one other colour

Aye, Aye, Pirate Fun

Good afternoon all, I hope you've all had a good week.

This is another card I've made for my eldest son to give to a friend for her birthday, yet another party he's been invited to.  This friend is a member of his Explorers group and last year their summer camp was on a Narrow Boat and they all had to dress as Pirates, hence the subject of the card.

I got out one of my Debbie More CD's and found some stripy backing paper in one of my NitWit Collections.  I used Kraft card as a base and cut a border from the same card using a spellbinders die, this has been topped with a ribbon strip from the CD.  The corrugated card and buttons came from my stash, I rolled some string to make a rope coil and topped it with a charm to finish the card.

This is the inside of my card decorated as usual.

Image: Debbi Moore Designs  - Funky Divas Kerry Jo CD
Papers:  NitWit - Aye, Aye Captain
, Tools:  Spellbinders - Ric Rac Diamond border, Labels 4. Scalloped Circles, Classic Squares (inside card)
Embellishments:  string, button and charm from stash
Sentiment:  Polka Doodles

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges

CES Challenge 53 - Make it Magical or Spooky (I think my pirate girl is magical)
The Crazy Challenge 84 - Birthdays

Don't forget to pop over to the Willow Sketchie Challenge Blog  and have a go at this weeks challenge.

Thank you for looking, please leave me a comment and let me know what you think.
