Snuggle Christmas

It's time for a new challenge at Christmas with the Cuties and the theme for this one is Snuggly Bears.

I have used an adorable image called Snuggle Christmas from our sponsor - Di's Digi Stamps to create my card.

I actually used an ultimate kit from Paper Creator's Crafts, reproduced under licence and coloured by Paper Creator.

The papers are part of the Paper Creator kit, I have added some hand made card candi and a sentiment from my stash.

Make sure you pop over to the Christmas with the Cuties challenge blog and take a look at the Design Team inspiration, we would love for you to join us for our Snuggly Bears challenge.

Good Friends

I have a 'just because' card to share today.  I'm quite enjoying my more relaxed crafting now that I have stepped down from most of my Design Teams.

I have used a super kit from the NitWit Gratitude Collection.

You could just print it out and add it to a card base, but of course I decided to print it several times, do lots of fussy cutting and layer it up with foam pads.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Fussy and Fancy Challenge 118 - Flowers
Through the Purple Haze Challenge 125 - Anything Goes
Crafty Girls Creations Challenge 36 - Always Anything Goes

Anyone for an Ice Cream?

You might remember seeing a card quite similar to this on my blog last Monday.  I created it for the Ooh La La Creations Challenge and as there are lots of toppers in each collection I thought I would use another one to create a second card as a mid challenge reminder.

The lovely bright and cheerful topper and papers are from the Ooh La La Creations The Shawn Jenkins Collection CD.

I have used red card stock and ribbon from my stash and added some hand made card candi.

Make sure you pop over to the Ooh La La Creations Challenge Blog and check out the DT inspiration, we would love for you to join us for our Food and/or Drink Challenge.

I have used a Tim Holz Thinlits die for my geometric element, I teamed it up with a fun image and sentiment from Pink Petticoat (now trading as The Lovely Studio).

A little bit of yellow card stock and a tiny bit of yellow marker to colour the bee's stripes and job done.

Vintage Butterfly

I have been playing with my Joanna Sheen stash again, this time I have used the Jane Shasky Vintage Butterfly card-making pad.

I have created a card for my mum to give my sister.  I used both sheets so that I could add a base layer and decoupage the butterfly.  I computer generated the sentiment and added some gems from my stash.

Enjoy the small moments

You might remember a little while ago I posted an easel card using this collection, well this was version one - I decided to create a simpler version because I needed to post the card.

I have used a design sheet from the Crafter's Companion Downton Abbey CD.  I have used the matcing papers and some card stock to add lots of additional layers and I decoupaged the glass on the image.

I have also decorated the inside of the card.

Floral Easel

I have another birthday card to share today - this one is for my sister.

I have used my Joanna Sheen Jane Shasky Double CD, there are some beautiful floral images on this CD.

I decided to create an easel card and printed the topper a couple of times so that I could add some decoupage layers, I also used the matching papers.

I computer generated the sentiment and added some pearls from my stash.

Be the Sailboat

We have lots of birthdays in our family over the next couple of months so I am trying to get ahead with my birthday cards.  I created this card for my Brother-in-Law, it is his birthday next month, I know he doesn't look at my blog so I'm quite safe.

I used a kit from Paper Creator's Crafts called Sailboat, the kit is designed to create a 6 x 6" card but I decided to create a side step card.

The image is decoupaged and I computer generated the sentiment - the anchor is a Joy Crafts die.
