Bashful Groom

Birthday Tag

This is the final card that was published in Issue 151 of Simply Cards & Papercraft. I used the Echo Park Pinstripes collection to create four cards and an off the page project, I just have the off the page project to share at a later date.

I used my Crafter's Companion Die'sire Tag Die to create the tag and the Sara Davies Just for Men Signature Collection Superstars die set to create the stars.  The ribbon is from my stash and everything else is from the Echo Park Pinstripes collection.

Single Cupcake Boxes

I am sharing the other two cupcake box samples that I made for the recent Crafter's Companion show's on Hochanda.

This is the Single Cupcake Takeaway Box, I used the Downton Abbey Classic Collection A3 Card Stock, the sentiment is also from the Downton Abbey Collection.

This one is the Single Cupcake Favour Box, I used the Downton Abbey Above Stairs A3 Card Stock and decorated it using the Downton Abbey Regency Border Die.

Geometric Birthday

This is another of my cards that was published in Issue 151 of Simply Cards & Papercraft. I used the Echo Park Pinstripes collection to create four cards and an off the page project, this is another one of the cards, a more simple design than the others.

I fussy cut the sentiment panel and created a base for it using my Tonic Deco Geometric Layering Die Set.

It's only impossible ...

It's time for a new challenge at CD Sunday and the theme for the next fortnight is Once Upon a Time chosen by Carol.  Don’t forget to use something from a CD somewhere, however small, in the making of your card or project and give the CD credit.

I have used an image, sentiment and papers from my new Polkadoodles Winnie in Wonderland CD.

I fussy cut all of the elements and inked the edges of everything.

I cut several of the main image and layered it up using foam pads for dimension.

Baby Girl

I fussy cut all of the elements and arranged them on the base layer that I enlarged to fit my frame.

Dream Big

This is another of my cards that was published in Issue 151 of Simply Cards & Papercraft.  I used the Echo Park Pinstripes collection to create four cards and an off the page project, this is another one of the cards.

I used my Tonic Deco Geometric die set to cut out the letters from the kit.

The sentiments are also from the kit.

No. 1 Dad

This is the other card that I made for my son's to give their Dad for Father's Day.

I used another decoupage image from the Docrafts Papermania Mr. Mister Collection, it's die cut decoupage but I ended up doing quite a lot of trimming again.

I decorated this inside to match.

Happy Birthday to You

I was a Spotlight Winner at Crafting by Designs recently and was invited to be a Guest Designer for one of their challenges.

I chose the Use 3 Designer Papers challenge and this is the card that I made.

I used papers from the English Country Garden Signature Collection by Sara Davies, this is such a beautiful collection.

I used papers from the 12" x 12" Paper Pad and the 6" x 6" Paper Pad.  I created the flowers and flourishes with the Floral Duo Dies and Lazy Daisy Dies from the collection.

Today I am sharing one of the projects that was published is last months magazine using an adorable image from Paper Creator's Crafts, it comes from a collection called Another Day on the Farm.

I used papers from the Echo Park This and That Graceful Collection and inked the edges of everything to create a slightly rustic, country feel.

I used a Sizzix die to cut the hearts and added some hessian ribbon along with a couple of buttons tied with twine.

Aldburgh

It's time for a new challenge at Ooh La La Creations and the theme for the next fortnights challenge is Sun, Sand and Sea. The prize for one lucky winner is 2 digi downloads from the Ooh La La Creations shop.

I have used a fabulous image and papers from the Ooh La La Creations Water Colour Memories CD called Aldburgh to make my easel card.

I printed my image and cut it into three equal parts, I then inked the edges and layered it up on a paper from the CD using foam pads.

I used my Marianne Design CreaTables LR0418 die to cut the rope and added a sentiment from another Ooh La La CD to act as a stopper.

Best Dad

This is one of the cards that I made for my sons to give their Dad for Father's Day.  I was a bit pushed for time this year so I used the Docrafts Papermania Mr. Mister Collection.

I used a die cut decoupage image but ended up having to trim it quite a lot!

I used my Crafter's Companion Textures Embossing Folder to emboss the background and fussy cut a couple of sections from the map papers in the collection.  I inked the edges of the papers and embossed panel and also decorated the inside of the card.

Making Cards Magazine

Have you picked up your copy of the new Making Cards Magazine yet!

For the first time ever the craft papers have been provided in digital format as well,  meaning that readers can print off pages as many times as they wish.  The CD Rom also contains over 50 coordinating bonus papers.  I'm really pleased that I was asked to create the Mermaid Folk cards using this months fabulous craft papers.

I have two other sets of cards in this months magazine - the County Life feature using the Crafter's Companion A Country Life CD and also the Made for Men feature using the Just for Men Signature Collection by Sara Davies.

Chasing Butterflies

It's time for a new challenge at Di's Digi Designs and the theme for the next fortnight is Summer is Here.

I chose to use this adorable image called Chasing Butterflies and some papers from My Mind's Eye that have been in my stash for ages.

I used Kraft card stock and made my flower with my Stamps by Chloe Floral Embellishments Stamp, the flourish is from the English Country Garden Signature Collection by Sara Davies.

The sentiment is from Craftwork Cards and the ribbon and pearls are from my stash.

Pretend Country Wedding

The new edition of Making Cards Magazine is in the shops today so I can now share the cards that were published in last months edition.

This one uses a Sassy Cheryl image available from Paper Creator's Crafts called Pretend Country Wedding, isn't it sweet!

Champion

Issue 151 of Simply Cards & Papercraft is in the shops today and I am really pleased to have five projects published in this edition.

I used the Echo Park Pinstripes collection to create four cards and an off the page project, this is one of the cards that I made.

I used my Tattered Lace Stepper card die to make the card base, all of the papers and elements are from the Pinstripes collection.

I created the rosette using my rosette die and fishtail flag dies.

Twin Cupcake Presentation Box

I have another Crafter's Companion Cupcake box to share with you today, the cupcake box templates are on Hochanda at 2 pm today.

This one is the Twin Cupcake Presentation Box along with the Daisy Cupcake Wrapper and the Prom Dress Cupcake Insert.

I used some Downton Abbey Classic Collection A3 Card Stock.

I decorated the outside of my box with my Die’sire Essentials Flowers for all Occasions and Die’sire Classiques Delicate Flower Dies along with a seam binding bow.  These templates are really easy to use and the boxes are a dream to put together.

A sneak peek

I have a sneak peek at some Crafter's Companion Cupcake boxes to share with you today, the cupcake box templates are going to be featured on Hochanda this week.

This one is the Six Cupcake Gable Box along with the Lace Hearts Cupcake Wrapper and the Heart Cupcake Insert.

I apologise for the poor quality pics, it was not the easiest item to photograph.  I used some Downton Abbey Above Stairs A3 Card Stock and some Mink Centura Pearl Card Stock.

I used my Downton Abbey Elegant Border Die along with a seam binding bow to decorate my box.

This is the inside of the box with the cupcake wrappers in place.
