Blueprint Christmas Tree

This is my first Christmas card of the year, I have posted a few earlier in the year but they were all created last year.  I have been watching tutorials on YouTube and came across one created by Shari Carroll using the Tim Holtz Tree Blueprint and decided it was time to use the one that I have in my stash.

I coloured my tree with distress inks and added some clear sparkle pen to the baubles, star and die cut sentiment - I think this card would be perfect for one of those difficult men in my life.

I would like to enter this card into the February Rudolph Days Challenge.

Thank you for visiting my blog today, your company is much appreciated - please leave a comment so that I can come and visit you.

Love is ...

I'm sharing a card that I have made using items from the fabulous Polkadoodles Belle Papilon Paper Craft Kit.

I used papers from the 6 x 6" Paper Pad, I trimmed the butterfly sheet around the butterflies before distressing and inking all of the edges.  I then layered it onto another of the beautiful papers also with distressed and inked edges.  I cut some additional butterflies from another sheet, layered them up for dimension and added some sparkle.

The sentiment is from the CD, there are over 500 unique elements on it (no elements are repeated in the papers or stamps).  To finish my card I added die cut corners and a bow from the Ribbon/Gift Frames and Corners Die.

Victorian Beauty

It's time for a new challenge at The Paper Shelter and the theme for the next week is Make it Digital. I have used this gorgeous collection called Victorian Beauty - as you probably know each set consists of one inked stamp, one coloured stamp, one matching paper and one composition.

I have used the composition to create my card, I printed it several times so that I could add some decoupage layers.  The sentiment is from LOTV, it's from their new digi stamp section.

I used the matching paper to decorate the inside of my card, I also printed some extra butterflies to decorate the front of my card and added some sparkle with my clear Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen.

Make sure you pop over to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog and check out the DT inspiration, we would love for you to join us for our Make it Digital Challenge. If you use a Paper Shelter image you could win a $30 Gift Certificate, if you use another image you can win 3 Digis of your choice.

Thank you for calling today, your company is much appreciated.

A New Home

This is my card for this weeks Less is More Challenge, I can't believe I have managed to join in two weeks in a row!  The theme this week is New Beginnings and I decided to create a New Home card.

I used a sweet digi image and sentiment from Pink Petticoat, I coloured my image with Spectrum Noir Illustrator Pens and added Sparkle pen to the little hearts.

I printed a pink ombre paper, also from Pink Petticoat onto some card stock to create the card base and added a twine bow.

I would like to enter this card into the Less is More New Beginnings Challenge.

Thank you for calling this morning, please leave a comment so that I know you've been and will be able to come and visit you.
