Birthday Bunting

Issue 165 of Simply Cards & Papercraft is in the shops today so I can share some of the cards that I have in this months magazine.

I was really honoured to be asked to produce a Masterclass all about creating Z-fold cards. I was commissioned to create six cards - two beginner designs, two intermediate and two advanced. This is one of the intermediate designs.

I was sent the Trimcraft Make a Wish 12” x 12” Paper Pad to use and I paired it with dies from the Crafter’s Companion Sara Davies Birthday Party Signature Collection. The little parcels are from Stamps by Chloe, the buttons, ribbon & twine are all from my stash.

Make sure you pick up a copy of this months magazine, it has lots of beautiful cards in it and the free gift is a fabulous bird stamp set and die along with some beautiful Prima papers.

Thank you for visiting my blog today, your company is much appreciated.

Chasing Butterflies

It's time for a new challenge at Di's Digi Designs and the theme for the next fortnight is Summer is Here.

I chose to use this adorable image called Chasing Butterflies and some papers from My Mind's Eye that have been in my stash for ages.

I used Kraft card stock and made my flower with my Stamps by Chloe Floral Embellishments Stamp, the flourish is from the English Country Garden Signature Collection by Sara Davies.

The sentiment is from Craftwork Cards and the ribbon and pearls are from my stash.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Crafty Gals Corner Challenge 76 - Summer Fun
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Animal Magic
The Crafty Addicts Challenge 17 - Anything Goes/Summertime

Thank you for popping in today, don't forget to take a look at the Di's Digi Designs Challenge blog to check out the fabulous DT inspiration and join in with our Summer is Here challenge.

No Images

I'm really excited to be posting my first DT card for the CD Sunday Challenge today, I have been entering the challenge since I first started card making and you all know how much I love my CD crafting so this is the perfect design team for me to be on.

The theme for the next fortnight is No images or Photos chosen by Sue.  Don’t forget to use something from a CD somewhere, however small, in the making of your card or project and give the CD credit.  I have used papers from my Crafter's Companion Verity Rose CD-Rom and a computer generated sentiment to make my card.

I  used red card stock and cut my sentiment out with a Tonic Geometric Layering Die.

I created my flowers using a Floral Embellishment stamp from Stamps by Chloe, I stamped onto some of the dotted papers and cut them out before shaping them and layering them up.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

The Paper Shelter Challenge 252 - Sentimental
Challenge Up Your Life Challenge 43 - Frame
Through the Purple Haze Challenge 103 - Use A Die And/Or Punch

Make sure you pop over to the CD Sunday Challenge blog and check out the DT Inspiration - we would love for you to join us for our No images or Photos challenge, just make sure you use something from a CD somewhere, however small, in the making of your card or project and give the CD credit.

Thank you for visiting my blog today, your company is much appreciated.

Wishing you .....

This is a very quick card for the Less is More challenge this week. It's one layer week and the theme is Snow.

I have used a Stamps by Chloe stamp called wishing you a Merry Christmas, I stamped with VersaMark and heat embossed with some Platinum Sparkle embossing powder - it is really lovely and sparkly in real life but the photographs don't really show it.

I embossed an oval around the outside of my stamped image to add a little interest.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Less is More Week 202 - One Layer
Fantasy Stampers Challenge 25 - CAS Christmas
Christmas Card Challenge 2  - CAS Design

Thank you so much for visiting me today, I always appreciate you taking the time to pop in.
