Sweet Things

This is the third card that I have created with my BoBunny Sweet Moments collection, I am really having fun with these lovely papers - you can find two other cards that I have created with this beautiful collection HERE.

To create this card I used two of the papers and one of the toppers, I added the topper with foam pads to create some dimension.

I fussy cut the flowers and a second jar from some of the other papers and also added some ribbon from my stash.

Hip, Hip, Hooray

I have been playing with my BoBunny Sweet Moments collection, this is such a pretty collection with lovely colours and lots of sweet related images.

I have used three of the papers, I cut a circle from one with a spellbinders die and attached two images that I fussy cut from another sheet that contains lots of separate images.

I also fussy cut the flowers from one of the papers to use as embellishments.  The sentiment and ribbon are both from my stash.

Let it Snow

This is the fourth and final card, so far, that I have created with this months Love from Lizi kit - I'm sure there will be more in the near future.

I've used one of the fabulous toppers and a couple of the papers along with gold card stock from my stash.

The snowflakes are from the kit, I've used my Pebeo Gold Marker to colour them again and added some home made candi.

25th December

Another Christmas card to share today, this is the third card that I have created with this months Love from Lizi kit - this topper is absolutely gorgeous isn't it.

Everything is from the kit again, with the exception of the ribbon and stars, I cut the stars from gold card stock and added 3D Crystal Lacquer to them.

I coloured the 25th Dec with my gold Pebeo Marker.

Christmas Star

This is the second card that I have created with this months Love from Lizi kit.

Everything on my card came from the kit with the exception of some gold card stock.  The four toppers were cut from one of the papers and mounted on gold card stock.

I die cut the sentiment with the die in the kit, I cut it three times and layered it up.  The wooden snowflakes are also from the kit - I painted them gold with a Pebeo Marker.

Christmas Tree

This is the first card that I have created with this months Love from Lizi kit, I love this collection it is absolutely beautiful.

Everything that I have used is from the kit with the exception of some white and dark blue card stock and blue seam binding.

I lightly distressed the edges of everything and die cut the sentiment from some white card stock several times so that I could layer it up and make it thicker.  The snowflakes are included in the kit, I painted them white with a Pebeo marker.

I really must buckle down and get some Christmas cards made, I'm really behind again!

Born to Shop

It's time for a new challenge at Crafting for all Seasons and our challenge for you this time is 'Dies and Punches', we all love to use our dies and punches so it's a nice easy one for you.

We are sponsored by Kenny K and as I wanted to make a card for a friend of mine I used an image that I already had for my card.

I have coloured my image with ProMarkers (I got my inspiration from a card I found on google, but I can't find it again to give the person credit) and made my own Card Candy by punching out some small circles and giving them a coat of 3D Crystal Lacquer - it seems that I can't make a card without it these days!  I pleated some seam binding rather than adding a bow, I felt it went better with this image.  Full details of everything I have used are listed below.

I have decorated the inside of my card to complement the front using the same papers and layout as the front.

Card Recipe:

Image:   Kenny K - Madison Attitude
Papers:  BoBunny - Gabrielle Collection

Vintage Dress Form

I was lucky enough to win the challenge over at Use it Tuesday the other week and was invited to be guest designer for Challenge 32.  I was asked to create a card 'using 2 hoarded items' - I used some BoBunny papers that I have had for about a year and could not bring myself to cut into and also some lace that I've also had for about a year.

I got the idea for my card from one of my magazines, as soon as I saw it I thought I know just the image that would work with this design.

The image is The Crafty Pad - Dress Form Trio and the papers are BoBunny - Gabrielle, full details of everything I have used are listed below.  I inked the image, ribbon, flowers and lace with old paper distress ink to tone them down a bit and match them in with the papers.  The image comes as three separate dress forms, I layered two of them up and mounted them onto the hand cut tag.  The sentiment is cut from one of The Crafty Pad - Ticket style sentiments and mounted onto the same Core'dinations card stock that has been used throughout.

I used the same two dress form images, greatly reduced, to decorate the inside of my card:

Praying Angel

Good evening, I hope everyone has had a lovely weekend.  I'm a bit late today because I've been to Southsea to watch my husband run in a 10k race along the sea front, it was a bit windy but at least it didn't rain.  He came 38th out of 322 not bad for an old man (don't tell him I said that) and considering he's only been running for about four months.

My card today is for the Top Tip Tuesday challenge which is a sketch by Samantha, I do like sketch challenges.

I chose the lovely LOTV Christmas Angels Die cut image - Praying, they're just so sweet and this will be another Christmas card to sell at the Craft Fair I'm doing in November.

I decided to do another easel card and used some of my Bo Bunny Father Christmas Collection papers on a base of gold card stock from my stash.  I matted the image onto a gold die cut and the flourish is also a die cut.  I made the paper Christmas Rose using My Craft Studio Paper Flower Expert.  The sentiment is a Polka Doodles stamp and I added some gold pearls to finish the card.

A slightly different view, I'm never quite sure how to photograph an easel card.

Image:  LOTV  Die Cut Designs Christmas Angels - Praying
Papers:   Bo Bunny - Father Christmas Collection
Tools:  Spellbinders - Tear Drop Circles, Floral Flourishes
Embellishments: My Craft Studio - Christmas Paper Flower Expert, pearls from stash
Sentiment:  Polka Doodles - Stamp Doodles

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Papertake Weeky - Anything Goes
Creative Card Crew - Easel Card Challenge
Paper Crafting Journey Challenge 20 - Die Cuts and/or Punches
Christmas Card Challenge - photo inspiration (sorry I didn't use it) or any Christmas card
Crafty Ann's Challenge 51 -  inspired by a Christmas song (Hark, the herald angels sing)

Don't forget to pop over to the Willow Sketchie Challenge Blog  there's still time to have a go at this weeks challenge, we have another great prize this week.

Thank you for looking, please leave me a comment and let me know what you think.

Me and my Guitar

This is my card for this weeks LOTV Challenge – Bring on The Music.  I love these new boy stamps and to tie in with the music theme I have chosen to use 'Playing Guitar', I'm not quite sure if the little dog is singing along or howling - let's hope he's singing!

I used my BoBunny ' U Bug Me' papers and die cut and ribbled some little stars for embellishments, I find it so difficult to find things to embellish boy's cards.  The music sheet is from an old set of Hunkydory papers.  Full details of everything I have used are listed below.

I decorated the inside of my card to complement the front.

Image:  LOTV Playing Guitar
Papers:  BoBunny - U Bug Me!, Hunkydory -  Last Night at The Prom's
Cardstock  Core'dinations,
Tools:  Spellbinders - Wonky Squares, Die-namics - Stacking Stars
Embellishments: button, ribbon and string from stash
Sentiment:  LOTV Tags,  LOTV Words for Tags

I would also like to enter this card into Bearly Mine Challenge 12 - Anything Goes.

Thanks for stopping by - I hope you have a great week.
