Kraft Anniversary

This is the Anniversary card that I have made for my lovely husband - we have been married for 20 years today but together for many more.

I have used Kraft card stock and papers from the Craftwork cards Venetian collection.  The dies that I have used are from Sizzix, Tim Holtz, Memory Box and Lawn Fawn.  I ran the largest heart through my ribbler and inked the edges of everything - the sentiment is from Clearly Besotted.

Venetian Father's Day

This is the other Father's Day card that I made for my eldest son to give his Dad, this one was not quite as challenging as the other one.

The papers are from the Craftwork Cards Venetian Collection and the 'happy' is a Die-namics die cut.  I used a Clealy Besotted stamp and some twine and a button from my stash.

Happy Father's Day

My youngest son handed me a real challenge for the card he wanted me to make for him to give his Dad this year!  My husband makes models and then uses them for war gaming and Laurence decided that he wanted his card to reflect this.

As I'm sure you will know there are not very many images of this type available so I resorted to photocopying the box fronts of the kits that he makes up and recycling a map from an old book.

Lots of distress ink and a computer generated sentiment and this is what I came up with.  I also decorated the inside of the card to match.

Laurence was very pleased and I think hubby was quite impressed with his card.

CAS Anniversary

Congratulations

We have a new challenge at the House-Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge and I'm a day late - I always have two DT cards to post on a Monday, so I save my House-Mouse one until today, I don't like to bore everyone with multiple posts if I can help it.

A Summer Wedding

It's time for a new challenge over at A Gem of a Challenge and the theme is Summer Time chosen by Lynsey.

I decided to use one of the Card Topper Digi Kits called To Have & To Hold to make my card.

Everything you need comes in the kit, including decoupage layers, sentiments and an insert.

I cut out the decoupage layers and built them up using foam pads, I also added extra card stock between the layers of patterned papers.

I have used the matching insert to decorate the inside of my card.

Pretty in Pink

Another card from the Crafter's Companion CD - Flights of Fantasy, there is such a wonderful variety of images on this CD - this time I've made a very feminine card.

Everything used to make my card comes from the CD with the exception of the Core'dinations card stock and the pearls.  I used the verse writer on one of the inserts from the CD to decorate the inside of my card.

Red Dragon

This is a card that I made for a very good friend of ours, as soon as I saw the image I knew it was perfect.  He actually has a couple of pet dragons  - they are quite small and don't breath fire, but they are still dragons!

It is one of the images from the new Crafter's Companion CD - Flights of Fantasy, I made an easel card with this image as one of my DT cards for the launch on Create and Craft, this time I have made a normal card.

The papers are also from the CD, the sentiment is from Pink Petticoat.

I used the same papers and design to decorate the inside of my card.

New Home

It's One Layer Week at Less is More and the theme is Home so I couldn't resist making another 'I've Moved' card for my Mum - she still needs a few for the friends that she just exchanges Christmas and Birthday cards with.

The image is from Pink Petticoat and I have coloured it with Spectrum Noir markers, the colour has bled through a little but I will pop an insert in so it doesn't really matter.

Sunset Birthday

I've actually managed to make a card for this weeks Less is More Challenge - I've missed so many weeks because my Mum has moved in with us and I have been busy sorting everything out.

The theme this week is Sunset colours, I googled Sunset colours and was quite surprised at how many different variations there are!  I created my Sunset colours with my Spectrum Noir markers, carefully blending the colours together.

I used my Papertrey Ink Birthday die and a Woodware stamp along with an X-Cut punch for the stars.
