Christmas Wall Hanging

It's time to for some mid challenge inspiration over at the Polkdadoodles Craft Challenge, the theme for this fortnight is Christmas but you can also enter an Anything Goes project.  I have used the fabulous new Festive Christmas CD to make a wall hanging.

The adorable Robin and beautiful Poinsettias are from the CD, I have printed them out and fussy cut them - I love fussy cutting, I find it so relaxing. The sentiment is also from the CD, I printed it onto one of the backing papers.

Designer Cardmaking - Joanna Sheen Special

Have you seen the fabulous new Designer Cardmaking - Joanna Sheen Special magazine that is in the shops today.  I was asked to create five cards using the fabulous free kit that includes a 4-in-1 Christmas Rose die set, 8 festive stamp designs, a 4" x 6" embossing folder, 22 Patterned Papers and 80 co-ordinating toppers/elements.

You can see one of my projects on the back cover, it's the second one in on the top row - Letterpress effects.

Autumn Fun

This is another of the projects that I made using the new Autumn Morning Signature collection by Sara Davies.  I was lucky enough to receive the complete collection to create some samples and this is one of the projects that I created.

The photographs are of my husband and two sons many years ago - they went on an activity day in the new forest and had fun building dens and making camp fires.

I think I used items from most of the collection to create this Printers Tray.

Baby Favour Boxes

This is another of my projects that are in the latest edition of Simply Cards & Papercraft, I was commissioned to create six baby projects for this issue.  I  used the fabulous Baby's Firsts collections from NitWit Collections to create some Baby Favour Boxes.

These were great fun to make and quite easy as well.  There are step by step instructions in the magazine and you can download a template to make the boxes HERE.

The letters and adorable bear are part of the NitWit collection, I resized them and cut them out before adhering them to the boxes.

Coral Christmas

Have you seen the latest Die-cutting Essentials Special Edition, it's in the shops now.  I was commissioned to create five projects for the magazine using the free 6-in-1 build-a-tree die set and 8 co-ordinating stamps.

This is one of the projects that I created using the free Christmas Tree die.

I have added lots of glitter to the trees and used foam pads to create some dimension.

I computer generated the sentiment and added a twine bow.

Believe in magic

It's time for a new challenge at Ooh La La Creations and the theme for the next fortnight is Feminine.

I have used a fabulous image and papers from the Ooh La La Creations Say it with Words CD to make my card.

The flowers are from a Joy Crafts stamp and die set, I stamped them onto one of the papers from the collection and then added 3D Crystal Lacquer to the centres.  The sentiment is from the Crafter's Companion Sentiments Birthday Greetings set.

Super New Dies at Polkadoodles

Have you seen the fabulous new Polkadoodles Craft Dies exclusively designed by Nikky Hall available in the Polkadoodles Craft Store, Nikky has launched a super new range of dies and this is just a small selection of them.

This is a perfect all year round die, you can extend the railings to make them as wide as you wish or you can make them into a gate.  The exquisite lamplight can be 3D layered to add a touch of elegance to your cards.

This beautiful frame is not symmetrical, it can be rotated to get a completely different design.  There are also pretty dotted flowers and a smaller frame all with gorgeous pinhole details.

This brilliant door design can also be used to make windows, shutters and flap openings, cupboards etc.  Position the windows wherever you want them - it's completely up to you.

Make sure you pop over to the Polkadoodles Craft Store and take a look at the fabulous new die range, Nikky has designed them all to give you maximum versatility, you had better be quick because they are proving to be incredibly popular.

The year's last ...

This is another of the cards that I made using the new Signature collection by Sara Davies, this one is called Autumn Morning and it is absolutely gorgeous.

I was lucky enough to receive the complete collection to create some samples and this is one of the cards that I created.

I used papers from the 6 x 6” Paper Pad along with the Scattered Leaves Dies and Foliage Memories Dies.

I also used some of the Authentic Hessian and one of the sentiments.

Conkers

It's time for a new challenge at Di's Digi Designs and the theme for the next fortnight is Ribbon, Lace and/or Twine.

I chose to use this adorable image called Conkers and some papers from the Dovecraft Curiosity Corner Paper Pack to make my card.

I coloured my image with ProMarkers and distressed the edges of everything.

The banner is a Crafter's Companion die and the sentiment is a LOTV stamp, everything else is from my stash.

A Christmas Gift

Have you got a copy of the fabulous new Festive Christmas Collection from Polkadoodles.  This is one of the samples that I made using the CD.

I printed one of the patterned papers onto card stock to make the box.  The Poinsettias are from the flowers section of the CD - I fussy cut them and edged them with gold glitter.

The tag is also from the CD, the ribbon and twine are from my stash.

CAS Thank You

I have another card using the Die'sire Fancy Edge'ables that were the One Day Special on Hochanda yesterday - did you get yours?

This is a CAS design using the beautiful Die’sire Edge’ables Amour Die.

I used dark purple card stock for the base layer and cut the beautiful Edge'ables die from white card stock.

The sentiment is the Die’sire Only Words Thank You Die, cut from the same purple card stock that I used for the base layer of my card.

New arrival

Papillon

I have another Crafter's Companion card to share today.  This one uses the Die'sire Fancy Edge'ables that are launching as the One Day Special on Hochanda tonight

For this card I used Kraft card stock and the beautiful Papillon die to create a gatefold card.

Oh, Christmas Tree

Have you seen the latest Die-cutting Essentials Special Edition, it's in the shops now.  I was chuffed to bits to be commissioned to create five projects for the magazine using the free 6-in-1 build-a-tree die set and 8 co-ordinating stamps.

This is one of the projects that I created using the docrafts Papermania Capsule Geometric Mocha paper pad.

I die cut the little presents and a Christmas tree from a selection of the papers.

The sentiment is from the free stamp set, I stamped it onto a die cut label and added some knotted ribbon.

Autumn, the year's last ...

This is another of the samples that I made for the launch of the new Autumn Morning Signature collection by Sara Davies, it's the One Day Special on Hochanda tonight and it's absolutely gorgeous.

I decided to try something a little different and created a CAS card using a selection of the leaf dies and some of the papers.

I was inspired by a card on Pinterest, I just die cut the leaves from a piece of white card stock and adhered scraps of different patterned papers behind.

The sentiment is from the collection and I made the card candi by punching small circles from the paper scraps and adding 3D Crystal Laquer to them.

Make sure you tune in to Hochanda at 8pm tonight, this really is a gorgeous collection.

Vintage Wheels

It's time for a new challenge at CD Sunday and the theme for the next fortnight is Things with Wheels chosen by Carol. Don’t forget to use something from a CD somewhere, however small, in the making of your card or project and give the CD credit.

I have used a decoupage image from my Debbi Moore Designs Nostalgia CD.

Birthday Handbag

It's time for a new challenge over at A Gem of a Challenge and the theme for the next fortnight is Female Birthday.

The smallest things

Have you picked up a copy of the latest edition of Simply Cards & Papercraft, I was commissioned to create six baby projects for this issue.  I  used the fabulous Baby's Firsts collections from NitWit Collections, this card features the boy version.

Everything comes from the NitWit collection with the exception of the ribbon and buttons.
