Have a Great Day

This is another of the cards that I created with the adorable Hey Little Piggy Craft Paper Collection that was one of the free sets that came with the January edition of Making Cards Magazine - there is an image for each month of the year.

You can find more cards created for the Making Cards January Edition HERE

I thought I would share this one as the weather has been gorgeous here for the last couple of days, not quite warm enough for ice cream but lovely all the same.

I fussy cut the image and just added a frame cut from some yellow card stock. The stamped and die cut sentiment is from Hunkydory.

Thank you for visiting my blog today and thank you for all of the lovely comments that you leave - they are all read and very much appreciated.

Lovely Friends

This is another card created using the Helz Cuppleditch Beach Life collection - I love the bright colours and fun decoupage toppers in this collection.

I have used papers from the 8 x 8" paper pad along with a decoupage topper sheet. The sentiment is also from one of the decoupage sheets.

Summer Thoughts

Have you seen the news about a new blog challenge over on the Creative Crafting World Blog.  Starting on 15th of February and each month after that there will be a blog challenge with top three spots up for grabs as well as one talented blogger winning a lovely Paper Boutique prize - make sure you pop over and take a look.

This is the third card that I have created with the beautiful Sunflower Song collection from The Paper Boutique.

I have used three of the fabulous papers from the collection along with one of the toppers.  The layer behind the topper was cut with a Spellbinders die and the corners were cut with a Die-namics die.

I inked the edges of the papers and topper and added some ribbon and pearls from my stash.

Sunflower Song

My youngest son gave me the beautiful Sunflower Song collection from The Paper Boutique for Christmas and this is the first card that I have created with it.

This is such a beautiful sunny collection with lots of pretty papers and toppers.  I have inked the edges of the papers and topper and used dark brown card stock to mat everything onto.

I also added some ribbon from my stash.

Wish You Were Here

This is another card that I have created with a kit from Craftsuprint, it is called Wish You Were Here and is from the same designer as the kit that I used to make the card you can see HERE.

This is another decoupage design and as usual I have used foam pads to layer everything up and added an extra layer.

The kit also includes an insert.

Anyone for Ice Cream

I think there was a bit of wishful thinking going on when I made this card, I can't wait for ice cream weather to get here - that is until it arrives when I will probably be complaining that it is too hot!

I used a kit from Craftsuprint, there were lots of layers for me to fussy cut and layer up using foam pads for dimension.

I added a couple of layers of pink card stock but everything else was included in the kit.

A Good Friend

Whilst I was over at Craftsuprint looking for a quick card for a young boy I managed to pop a few other designs in my basket and this is one of them - who would think that I am ready for some warmer weather!

This is another kit that contains everything that you need, including decoupage layers.

I added some purple card stock and an extra layer.  I have not added a sentiment as I am not sure who this card is going to be for yet.  I used the insert that is included in the kit to decorate the inside of my card.

Dream Every Day

It's time for a new challenge at The Paper Shelter and the theme for the next week is Flowers. I have used this fabulous image called Summer Holidays.

I have used the composition to create my card, I printed a few copies so that I could add some decoupage layers.  I cropped the flowers from her hat and enlarged them in Word before printing them several times so that I could fussy cut them to embellish my card.

I used the matching paper to decorate the inside of my card.

Make sure you pop over to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog and check out the DT inspiration, we would love for you to join us for our Flowers Challenge. If you use a Paper Shelter image you could win a $30 Gift Certificate, if you use another image you can win 3 Digis of your choice.

Thank you for calling today, your company is much appreciated.
