This is the card that I created for my Mother in Law for Christmas, she likes traditional Christmas cards so I decided to use a Santa image, it is a Designer Deco decoupage topper from Hunkydory.
I used a die from Wild Rose Studio for the corners and the 'Mum' is from Creative Crafting World.
I found a nice verse for the inside on the internet.
Thank you for visiting my blog today and thank you for all of the lovely comments that you leave - they are all read and very much appreciated.

Simple Happy Birthday
This is my card for the new challenge at Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge. The theme is always Anything Goes - you may enter any creation on which patterned paper has been used, you are no longer required to completely cover your project with patterned paper, as long as you use some on your creation.
I have used papers from Wild Rose Studio and the sentiment is a die from Poppy Stamps.
I made the paper rosette using a Sizzix die, I made it a little smaller and added a button tied with some twine.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Brown Sugar Challenge 184 - Anything Goes
Jo's Scrap Shack Challenge 123 - Anything Goes

Just Because
This is a card that was published in last months Simply Cards & Papercraft Magazine. The new edition is out on Thursday so I can share this with you now.
I was commissioned to make two cards for the Cardmakers' Challenge feature, we were given a colour combination to work with.
I followed a sketch that I found on Pinterest and used papers from Wild Rose Studio. I used a template to make the butterfly shaped rosette. The sentiment is computer generated and I cut it out with my Die-namics Fishtail Flags die.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Crafty Cardmakers Challenge 156 - Punches and/or Dies

That month soon flew past, this is my second post as a Design Team member for the Forever Friends Monthly Challenge - this month the theme is Birthdays so I have taken the opportunity to make another child's card for my Craft Fair later this month.
I have used a decoupage image and papers from the Forever Friends New Arrival collection - the decoupage comes on one huge sheet and you have to cut it out yourself, as anyone who knows me will be aware - I just love cutting out decoupage. The embossed panel has been inked with Tim Holtz Shabby Shutters Distress Ink. Full details of everything I have used are listed below.
I have decorated the inside of my card using the same papers as the front:

Party Time Tuesday's Challenge 101 - Celebrate

My image is from the Fred, She Said - Fall Flowers collection, there are four lovely images in this set and I have chosen to use the Black-eyed Susan image. This is a close up of my card:
I have used the same papers to decorate the inside of my card and printed part of the flower on the greeting oval:
This is my gift bag, I have used a very similar design as on the card but have attached the image as a tag and added a couple of buttons tied with string:

Nautical Fun
This is the card I made my Brother-in-law for his birthday:
The image is a La Pashe decoupage sheet and the papers are from my Bearly Mine Designer Extreme CD. Full details of everything I have used are listed below. I matted the image onto blue card stock and then onto Kraft to make it stand out a little.
This is the inside of my card, I tried to show the decoupage but I don't think I succeeded.
I always find it difficult to embellish men's cards so I kept it simple, just some twine with a button tied to one side.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Kaboodle Doodles Challenge - All Manly Men
Lexi's Creations Challenge 66 - For the man/boy in our lives
Love to Create Challenge 18 - Father's Day or a Special Guy

A little reminder ...
Don't forget there is a new challenge over at Willow Sketchie at the moment, this is a card I have made following the sketch:
It's quite a simple sketch but you can embellish it as much as you like and really make it your own. Of course you can rotate it or re-size the elements - as long as we can still see the original sketch that's fine.
You don't even have to use the sketch if you don't want to, you can just follow the theme for this week and that is
as long as there is a die cut or punched element on your card it will meet the requirements of the challenge.
Everything used to make this card came from the Popcorn Platinum Men's collection with the exception of the sentiment which is a Wild Rose Studio stamp. The card stock is Core'dinations and the brads are from my stash. The only other things I have used are some Spellbinders dies.
I made this card for my youngest son to give a friend who plays for the same 'Inclusive' Football team as him - I always find it quite difficult to make cards for children/adults with special needs, so I let my son choose the image and papers.
I have decorated the inside of the card to complement the front:
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Craft Your Days Away Challenge 44 - Just for Children
Sentimental Sundays Challenge 100 - Cards for Kids
Marks Finest Papers Challenge 103 - Use 3 of something (3 brads)
Fab 'n Funky Challenge 119 - Celebrating male-ness
Dude Time Doodles Challenge - It's Sports Day
Here Come The Boys Challenge 26 - Hobbies
Cute Card Thursday Challenge 215 - One for the Boys
Crafty Card Makers Challenge 67 - For the Boys
That Craft Place Challenge - One for the Boys
Celebrate the Occasion Challenge 61 - Male Birthday - Must use a circle (sentiment)

as long as there is a die cut or punched element on your card it will meet the requirements of the challenge.

It's my turn to host the Willow Sketchie Challenge this week and this is the card that I have made:
This is the sketch that I have chosen for this weeks challenge:
This is the sketch that I have chosen for this weeks challenge:
and the theme I have chosen is:
DIE CUTS AND/OR PUNCHES
REMEMBER: YOU CAN FOLLOW THE SKETCH OR THE THEME - YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO BOTH UNLESS YOU WANT TO
I have used the Willow Designs digital image - Tool Time Walter and coloured him with a combination of ProMakers and FlexMarkers. The papers are NitWit Collections - Tour London and the card stock is Core'dinations. My die cut border and sentiment was cut with my Spellbinders - Ric Rac Diamond die and I have used red raffia and brads to embellish. The sentiment stamp is Wild Rose Studio.
I have decorated the inside of my card to complement the front and used my Spellbinders Classic Square die to cut the greeting panel:
