Love Heart

I saw a card similar to this on YouTube and decided to recreate it in my own style for the Less is More Challenge.

I used an Apple Blossom Flower stamp and coloured it with my Spectrum Noir Illustrator Pens.  The heart is an X-Cut die and the background is a Cuttlebug embossing folder.

I coloured the outside of my card base with one of the same Illustrator pens that I coloured the flower with and also coloured the sentiment strip - the sentiment stamp is from Craftwork Cards.

I would like to enter this card into the Less is More Challenge #362 - Purples

Thank you for popping in today, your company is much appreciated - please leave a comment so that I can come and visit you.

The papers are from the Carta Bella Winter Fun Paper Collection and I used my Cuttlebug Sledding Embossing Folder on the circle.

I also used my Die-namics Fishtail Flags Die, Tattered Lace Circle Dies and Tim Holtz Snowflake Rosette Die.  The star buttons and twine are from my stash.

Simple Pansy

This is my card for this weeks Less is More Challenge, I'm doing well, that's six weeks in a row that I have managed a card.  This week's challenge is a theme and it is FLOWERS.

I have used a fabulous coloured image from Pink Gem Designs called Pansy.  I printed my image on to some white card stock and then embossed it with a Cuttlebug embossing folder, I used a diffuser to create the smooth panel for my image, I love digi stamps because you can re-size them to fit your design.  The sentiment comes with the image and I have just added a layer of pink card stock.

Mad about GOLF

This is my card for this weeks Less is More Challenge, the theme is MASCULINE.

I've had this Woodware stamp in my stash for some time now and decided it deserved to be inked up.

I stamped it once onto white card stock and then stamped the individual letters onto papers from the Pink Paislee Old School collection, I debossed the golf ball with my Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder and coloured the golf club with ProMarkers, then it was just a matter of sticking them all onto the stamped base and adding a little water coloured grass to ground everything.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Less is More Challenge 159 - Masculine
CAS on Sunday Challenge 27 - Masculine Card
A Little Bit Crafty - Man Up

Remember ...

This is the card I have made for this weeks CD Sunday Challenge - Stripey.  My stripes are embossed on the white panel down the side of my card, I hope this is OK.

The image is from Joanna Sheen's Jayne Netley Mayhew Collection and the poppy papers are from her Pamela West Collection.  The embossed stripes were created with my Cuttlebug Candy Cane Stripes embossing folder and I have punched the edge of the panel with a Fiskars edge punch.  I have kept my design quite simple because I did not want to detract from the beautiful Poppy image.

I have decorated the inside of my card with the same papers.

A Simple Tree

When I saw that the theme of the Less is More Challenge was Trees I decided to make a card using my favourite Marianne Christmas Tree die.

I have used some more of the paper that I made from my Carta Bella Winter Fun paper pack using my favourite technique from the Pattern Play Online Card Class.

The white panel has been embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder using an embossing diffuser to create a smooth oval on which to place my tree.  My sentiment is a Kirsty Wiseman stamp on a hand cut banner.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Aud Sentiments Challenge 92 - Christmas Sentiments

I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who takes the time to visit my blog and leave a comment, your company is most welcome.

Snow Days

I have made this card to enter this weeks CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge, I nearly missed the deadline - something I manage to do rather a lot.

I have been using my favourite technique from the Pattern Play Online Card Class - you really should check these classes out they have some fabulous ideas and techniques.

I cut quarter inch strips of paper from my Carta Bella Winter Fun paper pack and adhered them diagonally to a plain piece of paper. I then used my Clearly Besotted Delightful Doilies die to cut out the doily shape that I have used as a wreath. The sentiment came from the paper pack and the button and twine are from my stash. The spotty papers are also from the Carta Bella paper pack and the white panel has been embossed with a Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge 50 - Sketch

Deep Ocean Challenge 63 - Button It Up
Quirky Crafts Challenge 21- Favourite Things (favourite technique)

Thank you so much for joining me today, I would like to extend a very warm welcome to my new followers and say a huge thank you to everyone that takes the time to visit my blog and leave a comment.

I coloured Gus with a combination of ProMarkers and FlexMarkers and used Distress inks to create the sky and grass.  The burgundy panel has been embossed with my Cuttlebug Diamonds in the Rough embossing folder and I framed the sentiment with a disc cut using two Spellbinders circle dies.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Wishing you Happiness

Good morning, it's time for another Willow Sketchie Challenge and this is the card I have made following Shell's great sketch:

This is Shell's sketch:

and she has chosen the theme:  Make your own backing papers.

You don't have to follow both the sketch and the theme unless you want to, one or the other will do just fine.

I have used the gorgeous digi image -  Fairy Jangles available from the Willow Designs Store and coloured her with ProMarkers, her wand has been glazed and some gems added to her crown.

Sorry Shell, I just don't do handmade papers, (as the Glitter Girls would say - because I can't).  Make sure you pop over the the Willow Sketchie Challenge Blog and look at the other DT's fab papers, they really put me to shame.

My papers are Bearly Mine Designs Summer's Roses and Mini Dots and everything has been layered onto some purple card stock that I had in my stash.  I put the corner through my ribbler to incorporate some texture and added some buttons and gems also from my stash.

As usual I have decorated the inside of my card:

I also made a little pocket and inserted a tag that has been cut out and embossed with my Cuttlebug Embossed Tags folder, the sentiment is a Creative Expressions stamp.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Di's Digi Designs Challenge - Show us that Bling!!

Make sure you pop over to the Willow Sketchie Challenge Blog, have a look at the DT inspiration and join in with our challenge, you have until 20:00 hrs on Wednesday 6th June to enter and the prize is a voucher to spend in the Willow Designs Store. Don't forget you can either follow the sketch and/or the theme.

Thank you for visiting today.
