Make a Splash

I have another masculine card to share today, I have used the Hunkydory Sporting Silhouettes collection to create a double Z-fold card.  This design looked good in my head but didn't quite work out as I had planned - does that ever happen to you?

I used one large image, two smaller images, a couple of sentiments and one sheet of printed card stock.  I created the rosette with one of the printed papers that comes with this collection.

Flowers for Mother's Day

This is the card that I have created for my Mother-in-Law for Mother's Day, I used my Tattered Lace Mega Side Stepper Die to create the base.

The Lace panels are also part of the Tattered Lace die set and the flowers are from the Hunkydory Floral Favourites Snippable collection along with the purple papers. The Mother's Day is an unlabeled die, I also decorated the inside of the card to match the front and added a lovely verse that I found on the internet.

Eastern Charm

I'm still trying to use up some old stash, this time I've used the Hunkydory Eastern Wishes Luxury Card Collection - I have lots of Hunkydory in my stash, lots from when I was on their Design Team and lots that I've purchased myself and I have to admit that I don't really like all the gold on them anymore!

I created this card using a couple of the toppers, you get two of each design so I decided to fussy cut some bits from one to layer up, I also used one of the papers from the Luxury Inserts and Papers collection, one of the A4 cardstock sheets and a sentiment.

I will share another card that I have created with this collection soon, I have cut away all of the gold foil to create a more simple card and am in the process of making another one without the gold foiling but a more fussy and fancy design.

Thank you for visiting my blog today and thank you for all of the lovely comments that you leave, they are all read and much appreciated.

Beautiful Lilies

I made quite a few purchases during the recent Crafter's Companion 16th Birthday Celebrations and I'm trying to make sure that I actually use them, here I am sharing a card using two of the collections.

I created the Easel Card base using the outline die from the Intri'lace Floral Fretwork Dies, and cut two panels from white cardstock using the fretwork die, I added some colour to them with Distress Ink and adhered them to the base.  I cut the floral centrepiece from the topper pad using the matching dies, it's a bit difficult to get them to line up so I ended up cutting two sets and used some of them as the stopper for the easel.  The little sentiment tag is from my stash, I think it was from an old card.

Happy New Year

I have created a Tower Card, I have seen a few around recently and decided to have a go myself - they are very simple to create.

I decided to make mine a New Year card and used my Authentique Party Collection.

I created the Tower base with black card stock and cut the 2022 from black card stock as well, I then added 3D Crystal Lacquer to the numbers.

I used several papers and two of the fun toppers from the collection.

I added a computer generated sentiment.

This is the Tower card folded flat for posting.

I would like to wish all of my lovely followers a very Happy and Healthy New Year.

Elegant Mask

This is another make using the Masquerade Ball collection from Crafter's Companion, one of my purchases during the Sweet 16th Birthday Celebrations.

I copied the card fold from a Sam Calcott - Mixed Up Craft Video, you can find her YouTube Channel HERE.  I used several papers from the 12 x 12 paper pad, I also cut the mask and feathers from the papers.  The sentiment stamps are from the Sara Signature Enchanted Dreams collection

Masquerade Ball

Did you watch any of the Crafter's Companion Sweet 16th Birthday Celebrations on Crafter's TV, I think I watched a bit much, I seem to have bought rather a lot!

I have created this card with the Nature's Garden Masquerade Ball collection, I used gorgeous papers from the 12 x 12 paper pad, I fussy cut the mask from one of the papers and die cut the feathers from the papers as well.  I haven't added a sentiment yet because I'm not sure who this card is going to be going to.

Birthday Posies

I've been playing with my Dovecraft Paper Posies collection again, this time I have created a Squash Fold Card, another easy card to create.

I used four of the papers, a decoupage topper and some pink cardstock to decorate the front of my card, I used my Die-namics Fishtail Flag Die to cut the little banners .

I used three of the papers to decorate the inside and create the little pop up element, the sentiment is from the new Crafter's Companion Ultimate Verse Compendium, have you seen it, it is so useful and beautifully presented in a gorgeous folder.

Thank you for popping in today and thank you for all of the lovely Birthday wishes you left on my previous post for my Son, he had a lovely Birthday topped off yesterday by England winning the football.

Triple Fold Posies

I am having fun experimenting with some different folds at the moment, today I am sharing a Triple Fold Card.

I have used the Dovecraft Paper Posies collection again, this time I used four of the pretty papers along with a decoupage topper on the belly band.

This is another very simple card to create but a little different from my normal square cards.

Peony

Whilst I had my Hunkydory Floral Snippables on my desk, I thought I would created another card with one of them, this time I used the Peony.

I used an old Crafter's Companion Create-A-Card die to create a circle swing card, the die cut panels are also part of the die set.  The papers are from the paper pad that goes with the Snippables paper pad.

I placed the die cut sentiment that comes with the Create-A-Card die on the reverse of the image.

Forever Remembered

I have combined two Hunkydory Moonstone die sets to create this card, I used one of the Floral Favourites Snippables and one of the Filigree Flowers Collection, I think they match perfectly.

I decided to create an easel card and used the Lilly die from both sets, I only used four layers of the snippables, there are eight if you really like lots of decoupage layers, I used two more layers on the base of the card along with a die cut sentiment from the collection.  The green layer of papers is part of the paper pad that contains the images and the peach is from a very old Anna Marie Designs paper pad.

Finding Paradise

I have another card to share using papers from Dovecraft, this time I have used papers and a topper from the Finding Paradise collection to create a Triangle Corner Pop-up Card.

It is the first time I have created this style of card and I have to say, I was surprised just how quick and easy it was!  I used two of the 8 x 8" papers from the collection along with a topper, the sentiment is an old Craftwork cards one, I fussy cut the little flowers from some leftover papers.

Caring Thoughts

I created this card for my youngest son to give my Mother-in-Law for her Birthday, I used the Sara Davies Caring Thoughts collection.

I decided to create a double z-fold card, I made it a bit differently from what I usually do - I decided to put the verse on the back panel, I usually put them on the back of the card.  I used one of the beautiful papers and one of the pretty decoupage images, there are dies to go with them so that makes things very easy.  I computer generated the sentiment and verse and cut them out with some Hunkydory dies.  The butterflies are from the paper pad, they are die cut but they had a white edge so I decided to fussy cut them as I didn't like it.

Butterfly Kisses

I saw a video by Sam, Mixed Up Craft, she created a Cascading Gatefold Card and I liked it so much that I decided to make one - it is a lot easier than it looks and Sam explains it really well.

I used the Butterfly Kisses collection from Dovecraft, the same collection as Sam but a different paper, I also used some plain purple cardstock that I embossed with an old Crafter's Companion embossing folder.  Both of the toppers are from the Butterfly Kisses collection and they are die cut decoupage, I also made a box envelope to put the card in using some of the papers.  The Mum was cut using some Hunkydory Moonstone Alphabet dies, I added 3D Crystal Lacquer to make them stand out a bit more.

Spring Botanic

I have created a double pocket card with my Stamperia Spring Botanic collection, I like this card design because you can create it with one sheet of 12 x 12 paper or card stock - there are lots of tutorials on YouTube.

I made my card base from a sheet of 12 x 12 cream card stock and used two of the beautiful papers to cover it.  I fussy cut three tags from the paper collection, there is a sheet containing twelve beautiful tags, to place in the pockets.  I attached the topper and label to some more of the cream card stock and inked the edges of everything.

This is a close up of the three tags that are in the pockets.

Bloom with Grace

This is the second card that I have created using the Nitwit Bloom with Grace collection from Crafter's Companion, this time I made a Z Fold card.

I used a couple of the papers along with two of the 6" x 6" Die-Cut Toppers, I cut one of them down a little.  I also used one sheet from the 12" x 12" Card Pad and several items from the 12 x 12" Die Cut Topper Pad.

Beautiful Moments

I recently purchased the Nitwit Bloom with Grace collection from Crafter's Companion, whilst I love the collection I think I will purchase the digital set from Nitwit in future, I found that whilst I love paper collections, having the physical paper collection rather than the digital collection really restricts what you can do with it - I didn't realise how much I like to resize things!

I decided to create a Zig-Zag card so that I could use several of the papers, there is a smaller card in the pocket on the third section.

This is the small card that is stored in the pocket, you can add your message on it or perhaps attach a gift card to it.

Decisions, decisions!

I have another make that I have created with my Graphic 45 Cafe Parisian collection, this time I have made a Double Gatefold card, my inspiration came from the Graphic 45 Blog.

I cut around the outside of half of the beautiful image so that I could place half of it on one side of the gatefold and half on the other.  I also added some fussy cut flowers to embellish - everything comes from the collection.

I used several of the smaller cake images to line the inside flaps and used another large topper to decorate the centre - this was not the easiest card in the world to photograph!

Alice

I have created a notebook folio with my Stamperia Alice collection this time, I still have a few papers left along with lots of journal cards but not a lot else!

Above is the front cover and below you can see the inside of the front cover and back of the the right hand flap, I have inked the edges of everything to go with the vintage feel of the papers.

This is the folio opened out, there is a small pocket on the left that has a card in it, you could add a gift card or just a message to the recipient, in the centre there is a larger pocket that contains a notebook, bookmark and tag, on the right side there is another pocket that houses some journal cards and another tag.

This is a close up of the items that are in the pockets.

You will be pleased to know that I will be having a break from my Alice collection and will have something Valentine related to share tomorrow.

Thank you for popping in today and thank you for all of the lovely comments that you leave, they are all read and much appreciated.
