Just a very quick post from me this evening, I must apologise to everyone for being such a bad blogger at the moment, I'm just so busy with Craft Fairs and the Children's Christmas activities are all in full swing already. This is the card I made for my Mum and Dad for their Wedding Anniversary:
This is an 8 x 8 inch card, I don't make many of those these days. Both Mum and Dad love nature so I chose this lovely squirrel decoupage from Joanna Sheen's Giordano Forest Friends Collection. The papers are from one of Joanna's CD's - I don't know which one as they were already printed out. Everything has been layered onto some bronze card stock and the leaf embellishments were cut using a Cheery Lynn Designs Small Leaves die. I added some pearls and ribbon from my stash and a computer generated sentiment cut out with a Spellbinders Labels Four die.
As always I have decorated the inside of my card to complement the front:
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
The Crazy Challenge 133 - Autumn Colours
Card Mania Challenge 9 - Wedding/Anniversary
Crafty Ann's Challenge 79 - Birds and/or Animals
The Corrosive Challenge 163 - Anything Goes
Gingerloft Challenge 53 - Leaves
Thank you for popping by this evening, please call back again soon.
Pauline

this is gorgeous Pauline - wonderful autumn colours - and I know what you mean - about being busy - ts crazy here too - should calm down a bit after this weekend though!xx
Fabulous card Pauline, love the Autumnal feel of it. Hugs, Claire x
It's a beauty Pauline and I am sure your parents must have loved it! I think it just gets so mad around this time especially if you have family still at home. Now mine are all grown up and left home it's all a bit of an anti climax and I envy people with young families, treasure it they grow up so quickly. Susan x
What a gorgeous card Pauline, the backing paper is perfect for the image. I seem to use 8 x 8 a lot these days. It used to always be A5.
