Scruffy Santa Bear

It's time for a new challenge at Paper Creator's Crafts and the theme for this months challenge is Christmas - Paper Creator products are not essential but you will gain an extra entry for using them.

I used the adorable Scruffy Santa Bear Ultimate Kit to make my fun Christmas card.

I used the main image and a selection of papers including a solid red one for layering.

The sentiment is also from the kit, if fact the only thing that isn't is the ribbon.

Bundle of Love

I'm so excited to announce that I have been invited to join the Pink Gem Design Team - I couldn't believe it when I received an email from Janet, the talented designer and owner of Pink Gem Designs, asking me if I would like to join them.  I have been cutting back on my DT work but this was one offer I simply could not refuse.

I am joining the GEMS team and it is our turn to host the challenge this week, our theme is Something NEW (baby/ stash/home etc) chosen by SUE.

I discovered this adorable Cutie Pie Decoupage image in the Pink Gem Shop and you know me, I can't resist decoupage.

I have teamed the gorgeous image with one of my new stencils and some Pearlescent embossing paste. The hearts are an X-cut die and the circles are a combination of Lil' Inker and Tonic dies, the sentiment tags are LOTV and the ribbon is from my stash.  I also added some Stickles to the outside of the image.

It's a bit difficult to see the decoupage layers, but I promise they are there!  The pink is not quite this bright in real life but I am struggling with the light at the moment, it's either too bright or too dark.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

MilkCoffee Challenge - Celebrations
Sparkle N Sprinkle January Challenge - Anything Goes: use glitter
Really Reasonable Ribbon's Challenge 86 - Pink and Ribbon
Creative Inspirations Challenge 246 - Celebration!
Little Red Wagon Challenge 218 - New Beginnings!
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Something New
A Little Bit Crafty Challenge - Celebrate!
A Creative Romance Challenge - Something New
Brown Sugar Challenge 75 - Use Ribbon or Twine
The House that Stamps Built Challenge 11 - New to You (new stencil and decoupage sheet)

Make sure you pop over to the A Gem of a Challenge blog and take a look at the fabulous DT inspiration, we would love for you to join us for our Something NEW challenge.

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my blog and leave a comment, your company is much appreciated..

Blue Christmas

Good Morning everyone, it's time for a new Challenge over at The Crafty Pad and the lovely Dawn has chosen the theme - Christmas is Coming - so we would love to see all of your Christmas related projects.

I seem to be having a bit of a colour theme with my Crafty Pad DT cards at the moment the last one was Pink Butterflies and this time it's Blue Christmas, I have used the delightful Crafty Pad image Christmas Tree Trio and this is my card:

I printed the image out three times onto some pale blue papers from the Bearly Mine Designs Christmas Wishes collection and added the brown with my Cocoa ProMarker, as is usual with me I have cut the images out to create some decoupage layers.  The base paper is also from the Bearly Mine Designs Christmas Wishes collection and my card stock is Core'dinations, the only embellishment is some Ice Stickles added to the snowflakes on the image.

I have decorated the inside of my card using the same papers and a smaller image:
