All for show

I was delighted to be invited to join the team at the Inkspirational Challenge as a Guest Designer this week.  It is a photo inspiration challenge and this is the wonderful photograph that I was given:

I have taken my inspiration from the beautiful Peacock and made a card using a digi from A Day for Daisies.

I coloured my image with ProMarkers, created a mask and added some distress ink around the edges.  The patterned paper is from Bearly Mine Designs and I created the striped paper by colouring a panel with the same ProMarkers that I used for the image and then stamping the stripes with distress ink.

The border is an EK Success border punch and the sentiment is a Hero Arts stamp, I added a bow made with ribbon from my stash.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Inky Impressions Challenge 174 - Anything Goes

Standing in the Clouds

I have made this card for the current A Day for Daisies Challenge, which this fortnight is Anything Goes.

I have used an adorable image called Standing in the Clouds and teamed her up with some Pink Petticoat Papers.

I coloured her with ProMarkers and added some glitter to the fur on her outfit.  The white poinsettia is a Spellbinders die and the sentiment tags are LOTV.  I have added some ribbon and a gem from my stash.

I very nearly didn't blog this card, I just could not get a decent photograph - the colours are not true, in real life her clothes are the same colour as the papers and the glitter looks so messy, I think it must be the reflection.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Love to Create Challenge 97 - Blue with Bling (Winter)
Robyn's Fetish Challenge 193 - Use a Digi

Picked Flowers

This is the card I have made for the current challenge over at A Day for Daisies, the theme is monochrome.  I bought this adorable image a couple of weeks ago - she is just so gorgeous.

I apologise for the poor photo quality, I'm still struggling with my son's camera, I will be so pleased when hubby gets back from India with the one I usually use.

I have coloured her with pale blue ProMarkers to match my Papermania papers and made a paper bow with a fabulous little die from Lil' Inker Designs.  The sentiment is from Pink Petticoat, I added some gems to the corners and some stickles to the flowers in her hair.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Fluffy Chicks

This is the card I have made for the current challenge over at A Day for Daisies, I really love these fabulous animal images.

I have used  the adorable Soft Chicks image and coloured it with ProMarkers, the theme of the challenge is 'Add a Ruffle' so I gathered some lace from my stash to create my ruffle.  The gingham papers are from Pink Petticoat and I printed the matching plain colour onto some card stock for my base and to cut the curved border with my Spellbinders Curved Borders One die.  The LOTV sentiment is stamped directly onto the gingham paper.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
