Bee-lated Birthday Wishes

This is my card for this weeks Less is More Challenge - it's the dreaded One Layer Card this week and the challenge is to 'Adapt A Fingerprint'.

I've cheated a little bit and used two Pink Petticoat images of Bees - I used my fingerprint to colour them with Mustard Seed Distress Ink, I also added a little clear Wink of Stella glitter to their wings.

I used a Crafters Workshop stencil and some more Mustard Seed Distress Ink to create the background.  I really wanted to add a layer of yellow card stock but as it has to be a One Layer card I just inked the edges a little.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Less is More Week 180 - One Layer Card
That's Crafty! Challenge Blog - Masks, Stencils, Templates
Divas by Design - Things with wings
CAS on Sunday Challenge 37 - One layer wonder
Lexi's Creations Challenge 120 - Black and White plus one other Color

Thank you so much for visiting me today, I always appreciate you taking the time to pop in.

Pauline

At first I didn't realize it was one layer card, the inked edges are creating an illusion of a panel. Very clever! The honecomb pattern makes a great background for your sweet little bees.

So clever, I made the mistake of forgetting that it was a one layer challenge to start with!
This challenge has certainly brought out the inventiveness of everyone. :)
