Ahoy Matey

I have a busy day today with three DT posts, this is the third and final one for A Gem of a Challenge, if you are looking for my Paper Creator's Crafts post you can find it HERE. You will find my card for the new Di's Digi Designs challenge HERE.

It's time for a new challenge over at A Gem of a Challenge and the theme for this fortnight is Spots and Stripes chosen by Debs.

I've used the decoupage image from the fabulous A Pirates Life Card Topper Digi Kit.  The kit contains two A4 JPG sheets with decoupage pieces along with a choice of ages from 1 to 8 years and three sentiments.  Make sure you pop over to the Pink Gem Designs Shop and take a look, Janet is always adding lots of fabulous new images, Card Topper Digi Kits and Project Kits.

I cut my image out with a Spellbinders circle die and layered it onto a scalloped circle die cut, the wavy border was also cut using a Spellbinders die .

The papers are from Pink Petticoat and the sentiment is a Clearly Besotted stamp on a Spellbinders banner die cut.

The prize is:

2 Individual Digi images

(NO SETS, PERSONALISED WATERMARK'S OR SENTIMENT SETS)

of the winners choice from PINK GEM DESIGNS

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Seemacrafts July Challenge - Child's Birthday
The Corrosive Challenge 203 - Forever Young
V's Sweet Ideas Challenge 25 - Red, White, Blue
We Do Doobadoo Challenge 10 - Spotty and Dotty
2 Cute Ink Digital Stamps Challenge 110 - Kids
Artistic Inspirations Challenge 100 - Anything Goes
Stamp and Create July Challenge - Birthdays

Make sure you pop over to the A Gem of a Challenge blog and join us for our Spots and Stripes challenge.

Totally cute! The sentiment placed on the banner makes this layout so much more pirate looking. Red is a color I generally use little of for my male designs, but it actually works really well!
