Happy Halloween!

Yes, I have made a Halloween card in April!  My entire family think that I am completely mad and perhaps they're right, but the minute I saw the sketch designed by Chrissie for the new challenge at Less is More I remembered some cards that I had seen on Pinterest and decided to have a go at making one myself.

I made a mask and created the moon using distress inks, it took a couple of attempts and it's still not perfect.  The bat and tree are from the Clearly Besotted Fright Night stamp and die set along with the sentiment.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Sweet Stampin' Challenge - No Designer Paper
Paper Crafting Challenges #8 - No Patterned Paper
That's Crafty Challenge - Black & White with a Splash
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Keep in Clean and Simple
Less is More Challenge Week 169 - Sketch

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my blog and leave a comment, your company is much appreciated.

I don't think you are mad at all. I was looking at stamps the other day and thought I need to get started on Halloween and Fall cards. This is so very pretty, Pauline. Love the coloring of the moon. Great card.

Great card Pauline, you're ready for Halloween;) No problem with making cards for Halloween in April, I just make cards for Christmas all year long, doesn't matter as long you enjoy making it.

Great card. I agree it's never too early to create a card for any event. I have to do it when I have an idea otherwise I'm likely to forget it!

I did think you had gone mad, Halloween in April! Stunning card and a perfect take on the challenge. I have just done something similar with birds instead of bats. Have been practising with my distress inks! Michelle x

Many of us make Christmas cards all year round, so why not a Halloween card in April:) I must admit I enjoy making Christmas cards more now than in December, there are lots of other things to prepare for then. The layout is PERFECT for the scene you've created!
