Here Comes The Bride

Good evening, I have been busy making a wedding card today. It is for my 15 year old son to give to a friends Mother so I couldn't go too girly, quite a difficult task with a wedding card. I chose dark pink Core'dinations card stock, sanded the edges and combined it with lace, green ribbon and green hand made flowers. He would appear to like it, so I can't have done to bad a job.

The image is one of LOTV's die cut sheets and I have teamed it up with a backing paper from one of my Bearly Mine Designs Cd's, I love these so much I bought them all at Easter when they were on special offer. Full details of everything I have used are listed below.

I have decorated the inside of my card to match the front.

To complete the card I made paper roses and leaves to match the ribbon.

Picnic Time

Here I am back again, and only just in time.  This card is my entry for the I ♥ ProMarkers challenge - Animals. I used an Oliver's Orchard Stamp and coloured it with ProMarkers.  If you look closely you can see two little squirrels, one in the tree and another next to the picnic hamper.  Full details of everything I have used are detailed below.

Father You're a Star

Good afternoon everyone, thank you for stopping by today to see my latest creation.  This is a card I have made for the Teddy Bo Challenge 10 - Teddy Bo Only, I have used the image You're a STAR Bo and coloured it using ProMarkers, to finish it I just added a little Glamour dust around the outside of the Star.  Full details of what I have used are listed below.

For the first time I have decorated the inside of my card to match the outside rather than using a printed insert.

To complete my card I have added computer generated sentiments backed onto matching card stock, my aim was to make them look like little labels, I seem to have a bit of a thing about labels at the moment.

Papers:  ECHO PARK Little Boy
Tools:  Spellbinders Wonky Squares (on the inside of the card)
Embellishments: corrugated card, buttons and raffia from stash
Sentiment:  computer generated

Time to Shop

Good afternoon everyone, at long last I've finished my first ever entry for a Just Magnolia Challenge, the challenge this week is Make it Lacy.  I'm only just in time and fortunately the brief is either real or faux, punched, die cut or paper lace, mine is punched..  I used the Tilda Goes Shopping stamp and coloured it with ProMarkers.  Full details of what I used are detailed below.

I used my Marianne Designs Creatables - English Rose dies for the first time and am rather pleased with my roses, I dusted them with a little gold Glamour Dust just to tie all the colours together.

Shopping Our Stash

I have found a new Tuesday Challenge Blog called SOS - Shopping Our Stash.  The aim appears to be to use the things we have accumulated along the way - something I really need to do.  The first challenge to get things started is 'Show Us Your Stash!'  All you need to do is post a pic of  'your crafty space, part or your stash, some of your supplies' etc.  So here is mine:

I can't believe what a mess it looks, I'm normally a tidy person, it's only my craft room that is untidy, here are a few more pics:

I do tidy my table when I complete a card, but it seems to get in such a mess as I work!  This is supposed to be our 'spare bed' - better hope no one wants to come and stay.

Having looked at some of the DT'S pics I think I need to have a serious sort out but there never seems to be time, I know it would be easier and quicker to find things if it was tidy, but there's always a card to be made and that's much more fun.

Well that's it for now, I have someone looking over my shoulder waiting for the Laptop, I hope to have my own by the end of the week, so I will say good bye and thank you for looking.

Wish Upon A Star

Good Afternoon, I hope everyone is well.  My card today is another from Teddybo.  This one is Teddybea 003 and as usual I have coloured her using ProMarkers.  Full details are listed below.   I am entering this card into the Teddy Bo Tuesday Challenge 9  - Easel Cards.

It's ages since I made and Easel Card and it turned out to be quite a marathon, it took me three days.  Having said that I have had lots of non craft related things on recently so time has been a little limited.  I'm still not completely happy with it and would have liked to spend a bit more time on it but have to make cards for MIL's birthday so time has run out.

I'm not quite sure how to best photograph an Easel Card not having done so before, so I have taken loads of pictures.  My photography skills leave a bit to be desired, so please accept my apologies.

I always find it difficult to know where to write on Easel Cards so I die cut a little label to put inside just for that purpose.  I promise this is the last photo.
