Watercolour Christmas

I thought it was time to start making my Christmas cards, Christmas will be here before we know it and I haven't really given it much thought yet!

I have used my Watercolour Christmas Signature collection by Sara Davies to create a fun shaker card. I have used a couple of papers from the 6 x 6 paper pad and some die cuts from the 12 x 12 paper pad.  I used some of the snowflake dies from the collection to cut the snowflakes and added a sentiment that I cut from a border in the 12 x 12 paper collection.

I used the Chunky Glitter from the collection in the shaker, it's not much like glitter but it looks good in the shaker and shakes really nicely.

Mini Monday

It's time for Mini Monday again, this week I have created a couple of ATCs using my Stamperia Sir Vagabond in Japan collection.

To create one of the ACTs, the photograph seems to have disappeared from my camera, I used a couple of the papers, a tag with the gorgeous lady on it along with some fussy cut flowers and fans, everything has been layered up with foam pads for dimension.

 

For the second ATC I have used two of the beautiful papers, a fussy cut tag with the fabulous fish on it  and several cogs that were also fussy cut from one of the papers.  I have layered everything up with foam pads again and added a little scrap of twine.

SSS Card Kit - September 2012

Yes, my blog title is correct, I used a Simon Says Stamp card kit from September 2012 to create this card.  I have quite a few card kits from 2012 and 2013 and I am determined to use them - to be honest, I need the space in my craft room.

I used the patterned papers and a sheet of cardstock from the card kit, I cut the banners with my Die-namics Fishtail Flag dies and used my Tim Holtz rosette die to create the rosette, I just made it a little smaller.  I added a sentiment from Lisa Horton along with a button and some twine.

Autumn Blessings

This is the final card that I will be creating with the Nature's Garden Autumn Blessings collection from Crafter's Companion, for a while anyway.  I am taking part in another Facebook Live with Clare from My Creative Spirit on Friday and Saturday and I need to cut the chipboard and cardstock tomorrow so that I will be ready to follow along.

I have used one of the 12 x 12 papers and two of the 6 x 6 papers on this card, I stamped the Autumnal tree on one of the Watercolour Brights Collection from LOTV and cut it out with a stitched nesting die.  I used a Hunkydory Rounded Plaque Frame die to cut a panel from a sheet of the solid cardstock, I put this behind the image and attached it using foam pads for dimension.  To finish the card I added a fishtail banner, a twine bow and a button to secure the stamped sentiment.

Give Thanks

This is another card that I have created with the new Nature's Garden Autumn Blessings collection from Crafter's Companion, I am having fun making cards with this collection, I think it is the colours that I like so much.

For this card I have used five strips of the 6 x 6 patterned papers and one of the stamps, I just added some ribbon that I secured with a knot.

Blessings in Disguise

I have been having a play with the new Nature's Garden Autumn Blessings collection from Crafter's Companion.

I love the gorgeous colours in this collection, I have used one of the 6 x 6 papers, three colours of the Luxury Mixed Card, a sentiment stamp and three leaves fussy cut from one of the 12 x 12 papers.

Little Bear

This is another card that I have created with my Kaisercraft Hide & Seek collection, I think the little bears are so cute.

It is a very similar design to one of the earlier cards that I created, I was trying to use up the papers that I had already cut into.  The scalloped border is part of the 6 x 6 paper pad, I just added some ribbon from my stash.
