Happy 4th Birthday

It's time for a new challenge at the Crafty Purple Frog, the theme for the next month is Time for the little people - this time round we want to see you make something for a child. That can be a new born baby or a grumpy teenager.  The prize is a £10 voucher to spend on anything you like at Crafty Purple Frog.

I used several papers from the Just For Men 6" x 6" Paper Pad - Brights Collection to cover the card base and also cut a star from one of the papers.

The sentiment is from the Just For Men A6 Stamp Set - Rock Star stamped onto another of the papers.

I added a number four along with some punched stars and applied some Glossy Accents.

Birthday Banner

This is my card for this weeks Less is More Challenge, it's the dreaded one layer week and the theme is Curve.  I didn't manage to join in last week because hubby treated me to a few days away for an early Birthday treat.

I have created a completely digital card, I used papers from NitWit Collections to create the banner using Word, the bows and tiny buttons are also from the NitWit Collection - I added 3D Crystal Lacquer to the buttons.

The sentiment is from The Lovely Studio (formerly Pink Petticoat).

I would like to enter this card into the Less is More Challenge 323 - Curve.

Spring Birthday

It's time for a new challenge at CD Sunday and the theme for the next fortnight is Spring Colours chosen by ME. Don’t forget to use something from a CD somewhere, however small, in the making of your card or project and give the CD credit.

I used a beautiful image and papers from Joanna Sheen's Ivory Cats CD.

To embellish my card I added a seam binding bow and some card candi that I made from matching card stock and 3D Crystal Lacquer.

Sunburst Frame

This is another of the projects that I created for the latest edition of Simply Cards & Papercraft. I was commissioned to create five masculine projects using the sunburst technique.

I used papers from the Dovecraft Back to Basics Blue Skies collection to cover a frame, the photograph is my eldest son when he was in a band.

Thank you for visiting my blog today, your company is much appreciated.
