Good afternoon everyone, I hope you are all managing to keep warm - it's absolutely freezing here at the moment.
I have some really good news to share with you today - last week I was honoured to be invited to join the talented DT over at
Winter Wonderland - I still can't believe I was selected from all of the wonderful Crafters that entered the DT call, thank you so much for inviting me ladies. My first challenge isn't for a couple of weeks but make sure you pop over and join in with the current challenge which is
Snowflakes Falling All Around!
This is the card I have made for the
Seize the Birthday Challenge, I just love their sketches - I just hope my card is close enough to the original sketch this week!
I have kept things quite clean and simple this time, the sunflower stamp is from Docrafts, I stamped it twice and coloured them with Spectrum Noir pens, I thought I would have a change from my ProMarkers. I then cut them both out, the bottom one has been mounted flat and the top one using dimensional pads. The wood effect paper is My Mind's Eye - Howdy Doody and the card stock is Core'dinations.
I used my X-cut Border punch to cut the scalloped edge and the sentiment is LOTV stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa ink. To embellish I have just added some twine that has been coloured to match the sunflowers.
This is the fab sketch and this week we have to make a feminine birthday card.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges.
