Elegant Christmas

You've already seen the CAS version of this card, if you missed it you can find it HERE, this is the elegant version.

I've used the same Indigo Blu stamp and heat embossed it with the same Gold WOW embossing powder but this time I cut it out with my new Spellbinders Regal Frame die.  I then cut the outer frame from the same set in gold card stock.  The embossed background is Sue Wilson's Swirling Holly embossing folder, this has also been layered on gold card stock, I then added a further layer of white and gold card stock.

The beautiful poinsettia and curled vines are Sue Wilson dies and I have added pearls from my stash to finish.

Happy 18th Birthday

It was my eldest son's 18th Birthday yesterday and this is one of the cards I made for him.

I always find making cards for my eldest difficult, but cards for his 18th Birthday have to be among the most difficult I've ever made.

I used an Indigo Blu stencil and silver embossing paste to make the musical notes and cut the three circles with my Lil' Inker dies. The stars are an X-Cut die and the 18 was cut with Die-namics dies.  I computer generated the sentiment and the headphones are also from Indigo Blu.

I have decorated the inside of the card,

and made a matching tag.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Artistic Inspirations Challenge 72 - Anything Goes
Crafting from the Heart Challenge 2 - Anything Goes
Love to Create Challenge 6 - Anything Goes
My Craft Creations - Anything Goes
Bearly Mine Challenge 119 - Anything Goes
Everybody Art Challenge 258 - No Christmas Cards
LEJ Designs Challenge 84 - Anything Goes
The Male Room Challenge - Celebration
Through the Craft Room Door Challenge - Anything Goes
