Thanks a Bunch

It's been a while hasn't it, I just don't seem to be able to get organised at the moment!

I have decided to participate in the Spellbinders Weekender 2025 Virtual Retreat so I thought it was probably time to share the cards that I made during the Weekender that I took part in last year.

I really enjoyed last years retreat, it's a shame we can't join all of the sessions live, being in the UK some of the times are not very convenient but there are plenty that are OK and you can catch up with those that aren't at your convenience.

These are the two cards that we created using Yana's Poppy, I love all of Yana's Bloom collections, they are so easy to use.

The first card has quite a simple background, just coloured card stock and a little ink.  The main blooms are cut from white card stock with a little colour added using Copic markers, the gold outline is added after.

My second card has an inked and embossed background, we also added the Sunset Glass that is included in the die collection - you will see it again on some of the other cards that we created.

Thank you for visiting my blog today, your company is much appreciated.

Life is better with Flowers

I have created these cards with the Nature's Garden Wildflowers collection from Crafter's Companion, I think this is one of my favourite collections in the Nature's Garden range.

All of the papers that I used are from the collection and I used Copic Markers for all of the colouring.

For this card I used the Mailbox Flowers Die and Stencil Set, the Meadow Flowers Die and the Stay Wild Stamp Set.  I cut butterflies using a die fro the Sara Signature Flutterby collection.

I made this card for my Sister, I used the Mailbox Flowers Die and Stencil Set again along with the Wildflower Wreath Die, the 'Happy Birthday' is a Hunkydory Minis die and the 'Sister' is a Creative Crafting World die.

I have used the Mailbox Flowers Die and Stencil Set again, there seems to be a bit of a pattern here!  I used the Marianne CrafTables Happy Birthday die for the sentiment and cut the banner from some corrugated card, the twine is from my stash.

For my final card I used the Wonderful Wildflowers 2D Embossing Folder and the Stay Wild Stamp Set - the die cut butterflies are from the Sara Signature Flutterby collection and I cut the frame using the Topaz Ornate Nesting Dies also from Crafter's Companion.

Let Love Grow

Today, I am sharing some cards that I have made using the Crafter's Companion Natures Garden Wild Flower collection, this is such a pretty collection

For my first card I have used the Mailbox Flowers Die and Stencil Set, the flowers are dies and the little wrap is created using the stencil.  I have used two of the papers, cutting the hexagon shapes from one, the sentiment is a stamp from the collection.

I used the embossing folder from the collection for the focal point on my second card, I coloured it with Copic Markers and added a die cut frame.  I used three of the papers along with my Stylish Swirls Create-A-Card die, I added a stamped sentiment and die cut butterflies from the Flutterby collection.

For this card I used two of the papers, the Mailbox Flowers Dies and a stamped sentiment from the Wildflowers collection, I made a little envelope to put the flowers and sentiment in and added some more of the die cut butterflies from the Flutterby collection.

For my final card, I used the hexagon dies again, this time I cut them out of one of the papers and placed a different paper behind.  I used the Mailbox Flowers Dies again along with a stamped sentiment from the collection, the butterfly on this card was fussy cut from the Mintay Wing Fussy Cut Book
