One for a Boy

I did warn you that there would be another of these cards using my Woodware stamp, this one is for my youngest son to give a friend.

As this one is for a boy I've used much brighter colours and kept things quite simple with minimal embellishments.  The papers are from the Basic Grey Hey Boy collection and I have used my X-Cut star die and an X-cut punch to cut the star embellishments, I have added 3D Chrystal Laquer to the small stars.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

A Creative Romance - One for the Boys
Wags 'n Whiskers Challenge 129 - One for the Boys
Sweet Stampin' Challenge - Milestone Birthdays
Paper Minutes Challenge 321 - Stars
Stampavie and Friends Challenge 221 - Boys
Paper Crafting Journey - For that special Man!
Left of Center Challenge 31 - Card for a Male
Through the Purple Haze Challenge 41 - Anything Goes (Optional twist: For a Male)
Paper Crafting Challenges Challenge 10 - My FAVES!!! (My favourite stamp)

Thank you for calling today, I promise there will be no more of these for a while!  Please leave a comment so that I know you've been and will be able to come and visit you.

Baggy Jumper!

I'm so excited, this is my first post as a Design Team member for Forever Friends, I just love these cute little bears.  I have joined the Monthly Challenge DT and our theme for December is 'Christmas Cards', I'm sure you still need to make a few - I know I certainly do.

This is my card, my youngest son decided he wanted it to give to his big brother, hence the sentiment - Matt always wears big baggy jumpers so I can see why Laurence thought it would be ideal for him.

It's quite a simple card really, I printed the image several times and decoupaged it, I bet that's a surprise to those of you who know me.  Full details of everything I have used are listed below.

I have decorated the inside of my card using the same design and papers as the front:

Card Recipe:

Image and Papers:  Docrafts - Forever Friends Collector's Edition CD
Card Stock:  Crafter's Companion - Core'dinations, corrugated card from stash
Tools:  Spellbinders - Standard Circle and Scalloped Circle, X-cut - Star die
Embellishments:  buttons and raffia from stash
Sentiment:  Basic Grey - alphabet stickers

We have two fab sponsors this month, the sponsor for the randomly picked winner is::

Pastel Angel

It's time for a new challenge at Whoopsi Daisy and it's Team A's turn to provide the inspiration. Our theme for the week is - PASTEL COLOURS - it can be a Christmas card like mine, or a Birthday card, or anything you like just as long as you use pastel colours.

I've used another gorgeous Angel image from the Daisy & Friends at Christmas CD for my card this week.

I absolutely adore Linnie's gorgeous Angel images.  I have kept my card quite simple using ProMarkers to colour her and just adding some stickles to the edge of the image and sentiment and a little to the star, her wings and halo. Full details of everything I have used are listed below.

As usual I have decorated the inside of my card using the same papers and design.

Card Recipe:

Papers:  Basic Grey - Aspen Frost
Card Stock:  Dies to Die For - Kraft
Embellishments:  ribbon, star and ice stickles from stash
