I think I mentioned in my previous post that I was going to take part in an Online Craft Retreat being run by Clare from
My Creative Spirit, Clare showed us how to make a Bookstand, Album and a Post Bound Mini Book, we had a brilliant time and today I am sharing part of what I created.
This is the Album in the bookstand, I decorated mine with the Graphic 45 Well Groomed collection. I fussy cut the image from the signature page and used papers from the 12 x 12" paper pad along with one from the 8 x 8" pad.
This is the front of the Album, I mitred the corners of the striped papers.
This photograph shows the spine, it is a large Album, it measures 9 1/2 x 7 1/2 inches with a 3 inch spine, there are six pages with assorted pockets and photo holders.
This is the Stand with the Album, there is a drawer in the stand and the sides are shaped.
I will be back later in the week to share the inside of the album, I've not quite finished it yet!

From the looks of it, this online class must have been fun! I love how this bookstand turned out, with the gorgeous papers and the detail of the drawer.
I bought this paper pack and haven't decided what to do with it. Lots of brilliant ideas here and the papers are so bright and cheerful and the dogs are wonderful.
