Rise & Shine

I watched someone making a Tri-Fold Scalloped Circle card on YouTube, she used a digital cutting file but I thought to myself, "I can make one of those without using an electronic cutting machine".

I had just received my Hunkydory Forever Florals Sunflower collection and decided to use the beautiful circle topper and some of the printed cardstock.

I used a variety of circle and scalloped circle dies to cut the layers from gold mirri and the printed cardstock from the collection.

It took awhile to figure out how to cut the scalloped semi-circles on the front and to cut all of the layers but it was worth it.  I'm sure it was more satisfying to figure it out for myself than letting a machine do it all for me.

Thank you for visiting my blog today, your company is much appreciated - please leave a comment so that I can come and visit you.

Love those sunflowers. I've never tried one of these cards, although I've just done a criss cross card which looks similar. Maybe I need to try this. Love Dawn x

Oh my gosh - this is a totally cool card design. Every angle is amazing. Great papers and card design too. You are so good at this type of thing and I can't do anything involving any detailed measuring or cutting. Hugz
