Summer Sunshine

This is another card that I created with my Graphic 45 Time to Flourish collection, I used more of the blue papers this time.

I have almost used up the June Cut-Apart Sheet now but I have managed to get hold of another one because I want to make a calendar folio at some point.  Everything is from the collection again with the exception of some ribbon, twine and a button from my stash.

Joy & Peace

I have created this card to enter into the June Rudolph Days Challenge, I was the lucky winner last month.

I have used a topper and papers from the Carta Bella Christmas Collection, I quite like the untraditional colours in this collection.  I added some dark green card stock and created the poinsettia with some old Sue Wilson dies.

I would like to enter this card into the June Rudolph Days Challenge.

June Wedding

I have been playing with my Graphic 45 Time to Flourish collection again, this is a gorgeous collection, there is a Cut-Apart sheet with patterned paper on the reverse and a double sided patterned paper sheet for each Month.  As before, I was inspired by some cards created by Gloria Stengel, you can find them HERE.

Everything is from the collection, the orange that I used to mat and layer my papers is from the Patterns and Solids collection, I just added a scrap of ribbon and twine from my stash and inked the edges of everything.

I have managed to cut into some more of my Graphic 45 papers, only after I managed to get some more from eBay though!  I have used my Time to Flourish collection to make a pretty summer card, I was inspired by some cards created by Gloria Stengel you can find them HERE.

I used two of the papers along with several elements from the Cut-Apart sheet, I also used papers from the Patterns and Solids collection to mat and layer my papers and to create the flower.

Paw Prints

Have you seen the new Character Over The Edge Stamp & Die collection from Crafter's Companion, I just had to order the complete set!

Vinyl

This is the second card that I created for Father's Day, this is the one that my eldest son gave his Dad.

Another of his loves is vinyl records, he has an extensive collection and often listens to them - usually full volume!  My eldest son also loves music, he creates it though - he sings and plays guitar, so I thought this design that I saw on Pinterest would be perfect.  I used a stencil that came with Making Cards Magazine some time ago along with Spectrum Noir Quick-dry Inks to create the chevron strip.  I found the vinyl record and music notes on the internet, I added the DAD to the record in word and  created the sentiment at the same time.

The Duke

This is the card that I created for my youngest son to give his Dad for Father's Day.

Paul loves old Western films, most old films actually, so I used a John Wayne image from my Kraftyhands Legends of Hollywood CD, it is almost as old as John Wayne!  He also likes the occasional bottle of beer so I added one of those as well, the script paper is from the Graphic 45 Typography collection and the red Grunge paper is from the Craft Consortium Grunge - Dark Tones collection.  The Sheriff badge is from the internet and I computer generated the sentiment.

I would like to enter this card into the CD Sunday Challenge.

Here he is looking cute.

Full speed ahead.

Playing with his big brother, half brother actually.

Taking a little nap.

As you can see the grass needs cutting, I don't suppose that will happen any time soon, hubby has far more important things to do!

A Fresh Start

This is another card created with the beautiful Prima Fruit Paradise collection.

The frame for the topper is a Hunkydory die and as before I have inked the edges of everything, the sentiment, label, butterfly and pear were fussy cut and the flowers were die cut with my Tattered Lace dies.  I have also decorated the inside and created a little pocket so that I could add a little biscuit and a tea bag along with a journal card to add a message.  This card will go to the nursing home for the staff to give one of the residents on their Birthday, there are several that have no family, so the staff always give them cards and gifts.

Black and White Birthday

This is the card that I created for a family friend, she is very into black and white at the moment so I decided to use and uncoloured image from Bugaboo.

A very simple design, I just printed the image, I changed the sentiment to Happy Birthday in Word, cut it out and added a layer of black cardstock.  I added a simple verse that I found on the internet to the inside.

Another Birthday Card

I have created this card to give to my elderly neighbour, she will be 89 next week.

I used papers from my Graphic 45 Botanical Tea collection, I inked the edges of everything and added a Paper Boutique die cut sentiment.  The flower is a very old Spellbinders die and I cut the leaves using a die that I think came from a kit.

Chicken Chow-mein with Sweet Chilli Chicken Drumsticks, I had wine with mine the boy's had Pepsi Max.

Beef Ragu with Garlic Bread and below Bacon and Leek Risotto, I will miss being spoilt when Matthew moves out in August ready to start his new job in September.
