I inked through the die and used some plum card stock behind it. To finish I added some plum pearls.
I decorated the inside of the card to match.

This has great visual appeal. I wondered how you got the words colored in and now I see you told us that you sponged through the die. Brilliant idea and it came out quite stunning.
Inking through the die, that's a tip I'm going to remember, might come in handy with the right type of dies...
