Birthday Tag

This card uses one of the new Die’sire Fancy Card Blanks, this is one of the white Easel Cards.

I used papers and dies from the Sara Davies English Country Garden Signature Collection

I made the tag using one of the new Die’sire Create-a-Card Happy Birthday dies.

It's time for a new challenge at CD Sunday and the theme for the next fortnight is Father Christmas chosen by Meg. Don’t forget to use something from a CD somewhere, however small, in the making of your card or project and give the CD credit.

I have used a fabulous image and papers from the Ooh La La Creatons Christmas Presence CD to make my card.

I have kept things quite simple and flat for posting. The sentiment tag is also from the CD, all I have added from my stash is some pearls, a little piece of ribbon and some twine.

Tea Party

This is another card from my final allocation for Crafter's Companion, I have decided to step down from the team because the main focus is now on Dies and I am not a natural die cutter - I really prefer working with papers and digital images.

For this card I used one of the Centre Fold Fancy Card Kraft and the Die'sire Tea Party Create-a-Card Die both of which are the Weekend WOW on Hochanda at the moment.

The papers are from the Downton Abbey 12 x 12" Paper Pad and the flowers are the Die’sire Classiques Delicate Flower Die.

I also used cardstock from the Luxury Cardstock Gold Pack and some Centura Pearl Lavender.

Christmas Blessings

It's time for some mid challenge inspiration over at the Polkdadoodles Craft Challenge blog, the theme for this fortnight is Xmas Red/Green but you can also enter an Anything Goes project. I have used the fabulous new Festive Christmas CD to create my rustic Christmas card.

The Gingerbread people, the papers and the sentiment all come from the Festive Christmas CD. I fussy cut the Gingerbread people and added lots of Distress ink.

I have also used the fabulous new Bubbleicious Frame die, have you seen them in the Polkadoodles Craft Store - they cut like a treat and pop straight out of the die.

What A Hoot

This is a bit of a sad post for me - I have decided to step down from the Crafter's Companion Design Team. I have loved working with all of their fabulous products over the past couple of years but as the main focus is now on Dies and I am not a natural die cutter - I really prefer working with papers and digital images along with fussy cutting and decoupage, I felt that the time had come to call it a day!

This card is from my final allocation and uses one of the fablous Die’sire Fancy Card Blanks, this one is the Easel Card - Black.

The main die is the Die’sire Create-a-Card What a Hoot die and the sentiment is the Die’sire Create-a-Card Thank You die. I have used papers from the Sara Davies Autumn Morning Signature Collection 6 x 6 Paper Pad behind the dies and just added a couple of gems.

Make sure you tune in to Hochanda tomorrow, there will be lots of fabulous inspiration and demonstrations.

Sweet Emma

I'm really excited to announce that I have been invited to join The Paper Shelter Design Team.

You all know how much I love my digital crafting so this is the perfect team for me. This is my first DT card, a bit of a quick one because I didn't expect to be here and have been tied up finishing some other commissions.

The theme for the next fortnight is Pearls and I have used this adorable new Sweet Emma Digital Stamp, as you probably know, you don't just receive a digital stamp - there is one inked stamp, one coloured stamp, one matching paper and one composition.

I have used the matching paper along with the composition to make my card. I printed the composition several times so that I could cut out some layers and create some decoupage.

Holly Wreath (Joanna Sheen Special)

This is another of the cards that I created for the Designer Cardmaking Joanna Sheen Special recently. I was commissioned to create five cards using the fabulous free kit that comes with the magazine, for this one I used the stamps and two papers from the 102 papers & toppers.

I stamped the pine boughs to create the base and then stamped the holy and winter rose several times. I coloured them with ProMarkers and fussy cut them so that I could layer them up to create a dimensional wreath.

The sentiment is also one of the stamps in the collection.

Noel

It's time for a new challenge at Ooh La La Creations and the theme for the next fortnight is Tiny Tots.

I have used a sweet image and papers from the Ooh La La Creations Yuletide Wishes CD to make my card.

I have made a simple card, perfect for posting.

The image and the papers are from the Noel collection on the CD, I cut strips from the Noel backing paper and added them across the top, bottom and middle of my card. The only thing on my card that is not from the CD is the burgundy card stock that I have used for layering,

Our Little Lady and a Giveaway

This is another of my projects that was published in Issue 154 of Simply Cards & Papercraft, I was commissioned to create six baby projects. I used the fabulous Baby's Firsts collections from NitWit Collections to create a door plaque.

Halloween Mice

It's time for a new challenge at Di's Digi Designs and the theme for the next fortnight is Halloween or the colours Green, Orange, Black and Purple.

I chose this fun image called Halloween Mice, I coloured them with ProMarkers and used some My Mind's Eye papers that have been in my stash for ages.

The bats and spiders are Paper Smooches dies, I added black sparkle pen to them.

I made the sentiment using my latest purchase - a Dymo label maker, I've wanted one of these for ages!

A very merry Christmas...

I have made this Christmas card using papers and a sentiment from the fabulous Festive Christmas Collection from Polkadoodles.

I cut the sentiment out using the beautiful Ribbon/Gift Frames & Corners Craft Die, these dies cut beautifully and there are five separate dies in this fabulous collection. The Poinsettia is also from the Festive Christmas Collection - I printed it three times and added glitter to the edges before layering it up.

Season's Greetings

I was delighted to be asked to contribute to the Designer Cardmaking Joanna Sheen Special recently. I was commissioned to create five cards using the fabulous free kit that comes with the magazine.

There is a 4-in-1 die set, 8 co-ordinating stamps, an embossing folder, 102 papers & toppers and some ribbon and gems.

For this card I used one of the dies, some papers and one of the stamps.

I inked the edges of the flowers and layered some of them up for dimension.

Hello baby

This is the final one of my projects that were published in Issue 154 of Simply Cards & Papercraft, I was commissioned to create six baby projects using the fabulous Baby's Firsts collections from NitWit Collections.

For this card I used papers and a topper from the pink girl collection.

The flower is also from the collection, I fussy cut it and added 3D Crystal Lacquer to the centre.

Papillon Birthday

I have a Crafter's Companion card to share today, this one uses the Die'sire Papillon Edge'ables die.

A simple design, I die cut the edge of a 6 x 6" Kraft card base and added a piece of lemon polka dot paper to the inside so that it shows through.

I just added a little twine, a sentiment and some pearls to finish.
