From Our Home

Now that the new edition of Making Cards is in the shops I can share my Downton Abbey cards that were published in last months magazine.

I was asked if I could make some Christmas themed cards and this is what I came up with:

The image and papers are from the CD and the sentiment is a Sheena Douglass stamp.  I added glitter around the base of the house and on the tree branch to represent snow and give the image a Christmas feel.

I added a seam binding bow and some pearls from my stash.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

My Time to Craft Challenge 312 - Friendship/ Friends
CHNC Challenge Extra - Anything Christmas Goes
The Sisters of Craft January Challenge - Anything Goes
Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge 262 - Anything Goes or Vintage

Thank you for popping in today, your company is much appreciated, make sure you check out my little giveaway HERE.

Totally elegant and very Downton - love the strong colour theme. Didn't think a great card was even possible after seeing some of the stuff on TV but you really rocked it. Thank you for sharing with us at My Time to Craft and hopefully we will see more of your projects in future challenges. Annie xxx
