For our Godson

I was asked by a close family friend to make a Christening card for them, I actually made two so that they had a choice and this is one of them.

Quite different from my normal style - I have so many dies that I never use and I have decided to make a concerted effort to get them out and play with them more often.

For my card I have used dies from the Tattered Lace Westminster collection, I bought these dies when they were first released and this is the first time I have used them.

I have used a LOTV topper and computer generated sentiments. The card stock is Joanna Sheen's Elegance Satin printed with two colours from the Pink Petticoat Natural Neutrals collection.

I also made a matching box with a velum wrap printed in the same colour as the card.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Sweet 7 Challenge 2 - Baby
Krafty Girlz Challenge 25 - 25 Anything Goes
Nutcrafters Challenge 75 - Celebrations (Christening)
Sister Act Card Challenge 71 - Anything Goes
Scrappers' Delights Challenge 29 - Anything goes/die cuts
Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge 191 - Christmas, Children, or Critters
City Crafter Challenge 225 - Inspiration image (I was inspired by the colours and the young chlid)

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my blog, your company is much appreciated.

Wow! What a beautiful card! The box and vellum wrap make it look so special. I can't imagine HOW your friend is going to choose between the two cards you've made. I would be trying to think of an excuse to give both and I'm sure she will be too :oD
