Under the Weather

Hopefully, if all is well, this post has published on time as I will be in Milton Keynes supporting my husband who is running his second marathon.  Last year he ran the Dorset Village marathon and completed it in just over four hours, he was very disappointed that he didn't break the four hour barrier and decided to try again - hopefully Milton Keynes will be a bit flatter that the Dorset Villages and he will achieve his goal this time.

I was fortunate enough to be among the winners of the House Mouse Springtime Challenge recently and was invited to guest design for the months of May and June, well you all know how much I love House Mouse so I'm sure you will understand how excited I am about it.

The theme for this fortnights challenge is - Feeling Blue, you can interpret this as colour or unwell/sad.  Make sure you pop over the House Mouse and Friends challenge blog for more details and to check out the fabulous DT inspiration and great prizes.

I chose to go with the unwell interpretation and have used a fabulous Happy Hopper image.

I have kept my card quiet simple - the papers are from one of my Funky Hands CDs and I have used back card stock for the base.  I have used my favourite Fiskars border punch, some string, a flower and some buttons from my stash.

I have decorated the inside of my card using the same papers and design:

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Ladybug Crafts May Challenge - Feeling off colour
Crafting Musketeers Challenge 1 - Anything Goes
Fussy and Fancy Challenge 88 - Anything Goes
Word Play Saturday April Challenge - Weather
Glitter n Sparkle Challenge 31 - Anything Goes
Eclectic Ellapu - Anything Goes
Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge 125 - Animals
2 Sisters Challenge 142 - Bingo Bash (punches/die cuts, sentiment, flowers)

Thank you for popping in today, don't forget to take a look at the House Mouse and Friends challenge blog to check out the fabulous DT inspiration and join in with the Feeling Blue challenge.

gorgeous card Pauline and well done on the GDT. Hope the marathon went well - it would have too hot today for me to run any distance - I only did 4.2 mile hill run and I was flagging in the heat - and it was only 9.30am!!!!
