Sailor Bear

This is my second DT card for the Forever Friends Monthly Challenge, this month the theme is Animals, Birds or Butterflies, we would like to see at least one of these on your cards.

I have made two cards this month, one using an image from Saturated Canary who are sponsoring our Forever Friends Favourite winner this month (see post below) and this one using an image and papers from the Forever Friends - The Good Life Collection.

The card stock is from Joanna Sheen, but unfortunately she doesn't stock it anymore.  I cut the anchor embellishment with a Spellbinders die and coated it with 3D Crystal Lacquer, I also added lots of brads around the porthole.  Full details of everything I have used are listed below.

I have decorated the inside of my card using the same papers and layout as the front:

Card Recipe:

Image and papers:  Forever Friends - The Good Life Collection
Card Stock:  Joanna Sheen - discontinued
Tools:  Spellbinders - Circle, Scalloped Circle and Anchor, Die-namics - Photo Corners
Embellishments:  ribbon, string, brads from stash
Sentiment:  LOTV

We have two fab sponsors this month, the sponsor for the randomly selected winner is::

and The Forever Friends Favourite is sponsored by:

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

PanPastel Challenge 5 - Animals
Love to Create Challenge 51 - Let's Celebrate
The Crafting Cafe - Anything Goes
Craft Room Challenge - Handmade Embellishments (Anchor)
Let's Craft and Create Challenge 63 - Happy Birthday
Make sure you pop over to the Forever Friends Challenge Blog and take a look at the fabulous DT inspiration, we would love for you to join us for this months 'Animals' challenge and don't forget that the new Monthly Give-Away started yesterday.

Thank you for joining me today, I hope to see you again soon.

Hmm..... You make so many lovely cards, but I think this might be my favorite of 2013 so far. I have a weak spot for the nautical theme as well as for the male theme, you've chosen such a great layout, and I love the detail of the metal! Ans I love the image - perfect for both children and adults. I love this one, Pauline!
