I have made this card using some House Mouse Decoupage from Joanna Sheen, I had noticed a few food challenges around at the moment and thought this image would be ideal.
Once I had cut out the decoupage and put the card together, loosely following the sketch over at Flourishes, I really struggled with embellishments - it's quite a big image and nothing seemed to look right - in the end I gave up and just stuck with the one flower and the sentiment.
I left the inside quite plain as well.

This is really sweet! I think you ended up with the right amount of embellishments - as you say, the image is quite big. And it's such a sweet image too, so it works great as focal point, and I think you've used such a nice DP as background for it too.
