From little acorns grow

Good evening, sorry I'm a bit late today, I've been having a bit of a tidy up in my craft room and you know what it's like - half way through you think 'why did I ever start this'!

You must pop over to The Crafty Pad Designs Shop, Debbie has been very busy and there are lots of new goodies there - new images (including some gorgeous Christmas ones), papers and sentiments.  This is a card I have made using some of the new images:

Top Tip Tuesday have a 'One Layer Card' challenge at the moment and as this is something I have never tried before I just had to have a go.  I have used two of the images from the new 'Acorns and Autumn Leaves' set, watch this space for the leaves - I have a plan!

I printed the images and verse onto some Elegance Satin card stock and coloured them using my FlexMarkers.

I just put a very plain insert into this card with a smaller version of the image:

I would like to enter this card in to the following challenges:

LEJ Designs Challenge 16 - Clean and Simple
Robyn's Fetish Challenge 120 - Monochromatic Cards
Sparkles Monthly Challenge 35 - Nature
Catered Crop Challenge - White
Sentimental Sunday's Challenge 115 - Clean and Simple
For the Love of Crafting Challenge 9 - CAS Project
Cards und More Challenge 62 - Anything Goes
Card Crafter's Circle Challenge 36 - Rich and Earthy Colours
Shoping Our Stash Challenge 64 - Technique - Try something new (one layer card)

Thank you so much for popping by this evening, I really do appreciate your visit.

This is beautiful Pauline, you MUST add it to the TCP admin blog, and I'm sure Leesa or Debbie would be more than happy to add it to the new releases post on the challenge blog too. I agree that one layer cards are soooo hard, yet you make it look so easy with this beauty!
