Spring Birds

It's time for a new challenge at CD Sunday and the theme for the next fortnight is Do what you Love chosen by Pamela.  Don’t forget to use something from a CD somewhere, however small, in the making of your card or project and give the CD credit.

I used a decoupage image and papers from my Joanna Sheen The Jayne Netley Mayhew Collection Part 2 CD to create my card - you all know how much I love my Decoupage.

The gingham papers are from Bearly Mine Designs, unfortunately no longer trading.

I used a sentiment from Personal Impressions and cut the banners with my Die-namics Fishtail Flags dies - I think these are probably the most used dies in my entire collection.

Make sure you pop over to the CD Sunday Challenge blog and check out the DT Inspiration - we would love for you to join us for our Do what you Love challenge, just make sure you use something from a CD somewhere, however small, in the making of your card or project and give the CD credit.

Thank you for calling this morning, please leave a comment so that I know you've been and will be able to come and visit you.

Pauline

Oh Wow that decoupage image is stunning! There is so much fussy cutting in this decoupage Pauline you have done a fabulous job. I really love this and am off to find that CD on online somewhere!

OMG I have this CD already and had forgotten all about it - hidden among some others on the shelf. Time for a sort out of my room I think!!!
Thanks for the inspiration Pauline and a nudge to regroup and take stock of what I've collected over the years, lol.

Wow Pauline, these are my absolute favourite style cards of yours!! This lovely image has just swept me away to a lovely garden full of chirping birds and luscious plant life! Your layering of the different image elements is incredible, it creates a 3d image with a real sense of dimension! Love it!!

Absolutely lovely, and what a perfect weekend to post it, when many of us in the UK have been taking part in the RSPB Big Birdwatch. Two bluetits have been inspecting our nesting box today - I hope they decide to move in.

Great card Pauline. Before I discovered the delights of parchment work decoupage was my 'bag' as they say. I still love to do some when I can but it is hard when there are so many crafts and so few hours in the day.
