Anyone for Golf!

It's time for a new challenge at Ooh La La Creations and the theme for the next fortnight is For a Man or Boy.

I have used a topper and papers from the All Dressed Up CD again, this time I have used one of the masculine collections.

I cut the golf topper out with an oval die and created a layer of decoupage.  I added distress ink to both the topper and the papers to create a more vintage feel.  The sentiment is from Kraftwork cards and I made my own card candi.

Make sure you pop over to the Ooh La La Creations Challenge Blog and check out the DT inspiration, we would love for you to join us for our For a Man or Boy Challenge.

Thank you for calling today, your company is much appreciated.

A perfect card for a golf fan, and in a lovely masculine colour scheme. And home made candi too - how do you make that?

Another perfect 'guy' card. Some golfer is going to just go nuts to get this as a birthday card. Love all the tiny details like the hangers for the golf attire, and how cool, to add the shoe background paper to match the embellies (or embellies to match the paper?!) Delightful. TFS

I love making cards for boys and men, but for the teens I think it's hard to come up with new ideas, don't want the cards to be too cute or too grown up. This design even works for that tricky age group.

This is a neat card, but isn't that outfit rather tame for a golfer? I always thought wild patterns and colors were the thing.
