All That Glitters

It's time for a new challenge at Ooh La La Creations and the theme for the next fortnight is All That Glitters.

I have used a gorgeous image and papers from my favourite Ooh La La Creations Christmas Presence CD to make my card.

I have added glitter to my image and also around the outside.   Everything on my card is from the CD except the card stock, ribbon and sparkly pearls.

Floral Birthday

This is the final one of my cards that was recently published in Papercraft Essentials.

For this one I stamped and white heat embossed two of the stamps that are free with the current issue of Creative Stamping onto a lovely blue background.  I then used a Spellbinders die to cut the scalloped edge and mounted it onto a white card base.

The sentiment is also from the free stamp set and the ribbon is from my stash.

We're back ....

Beautiful Butterfly

Happy Birthday Brother

This is the card that I made for my eldest son to give his Brother, I based my design on the sketch at this weeks Less is More challenge and my inspiration came from a card on Pinterest made by Lisette Gibbons - unfortunately she does not appear to blog any more.

I used the second smallest die from my Tattered Lace Rectangle die set and the letters and 'birthday' are from the Die-namics Happy Birthday die set.   I have also used a LOTV sentiment stamp.

Xmas Birds

This is my third and final DT post today, you can find my Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra DT card and my Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge DT card below.

It's time for a new challenge at Paper Creator's Crafts and the theme for this challenge is Christmas in July - Paper Creator products are not essential but you will gain an extra entry for using them

I have made two cards, both with matching envelopes using the cute collection Xmas Birds from the Rocker Cards Mega Bundle. This is the first using the kit exactly as it comes, all of the decoupage layers are included.

There are 15 Rocker Card collections in the Mega Bundle and each one contains:

• 1 Rocker Base & Topper
• 1 Layers Sheet
• 1 Envelope Front
• 1 Envelope Back

I made a second card using the kit, this one is a more traditional design, I used the decoupage layers again and cut out some additional holly to embellish my card.

The only things that were not included in the kit are the punched border and ribbon.

Perfumerie

This is my second DT card today - my Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra card is below and my Paper Creator DT card will be along shortly.

I am really excited to announce that I have been invited to join Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge Design Team

I don't know about you but I have enough patterned papers to keep me going forever so this is the ideal design team for me.

The theme is always Anything Goes - you may enter any creation on which patterned paper has been used, you are no longer required to completely cover your project with patterned paper, as long as you use some on your creation.

I have used papers from the Craftwork Cards Perfumerie collection for my card:

I have added lots of distress ink to the edges of the papers and decorated the inside of my card with the same papers.
