Christmas Cheer

It's time for a new challenge at Winter Wonderland and this week our theme is 'Paint the Town Red' - we would like to see lots of RED and don't forget Christmas projects only.

I have used toppers and papers from a Crafter's Companion kit - I don't know why I buy these, they just sit on the shelf collecting dust, but I am determined to use some of them up this year.  I used the inspiration sheet for the basic design of my card but stepped it up a little by adding some bits and pieces from my stash.

I used some gold Mirri card for the base and die cut some scalloped circles for the toppers to sit on. The sentiment is from Craftwork Cards and I have also put this on a Mirri card base.

I have used another topper and some of the card stock to decorate the inside of my card.

This week we have two fabulous sponsors again:

With a Prize of 3 digis

and

Who have some gorgeous new and vintage ribbons to choose from

With a prize of a £10 voucher

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge 263 - A Touch of Gold
Completely Christmas Challenge 3 - Anything Goes
CHNC Challenge Extra for March - Anything Christmas
Crafty Girls Challenge 14 - Anything Goes

Make sure you pop over to the Winter Wonderland Challenge blog and take a look at the fabulous DT inspiration, we would love for you to join us for our 'Paint the Town Red' challenge - don't forget it must be a Christmas card.
Thank you so much for visiting me today, I always appreciate you taking the time to pop in.

Anonymous

Is anyone else getting dozens of comments from 'Anonymous' lately or is it just me?

Over the past month I have been receiving up to 50 each day. They are all on very old posts and just make some ridiculous comment about the quality (or not) of my post, they then supply a link to their blog which is ALWAYS something that is totally irrelevant to the content of my blog and obviously of no interest to me.

I do have comment moderation enabled so these comments are never published and I know that I can block them, but by doing so I risk blocking some people who are actually interested in looking at my posts and leaving relevant comments and I don't really want to do that.

So if  'Anonymous' is reading this, which I very much doubt, because I don't think you actually bother to read anything - I will never publish your ridiculous comments and I most certainly will not be following the links to your blog as I have no interest in:

premature ejaculation causing infertility
clash of clan cheats
holiday's in Bali
pure garcinia cambogia en espanol
natural raspberry ketone supplement

or any of the other rubbish that you keep leaving links to, even if I did I would not look to source anything from comments left by 'Anonymous' on my blog!

Please stop wasting both your time and mine.

Christmas Carrots

It's time for our mid challenge reminder at the House-Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge and this fortnight our theme is: Lost and Found chosen by Heather. You seem to be finding this a difficult theme but it's not that difficult really, take a look at the DT inspiration - it's very open to your interpretation.

I have used an image from Joanna Sheen's Happy Hoppers Decoupage collection - I do love my decoupage even if it does seem to be a little out of fashion at the moment.

My papers are from the NitWit Gentlemen Folk Collection and I have used Kraft card stock.  The sentiment tags are LOTV and I have added some twine and punched stars to embellish.

My interpretation of the theme is:

The Happy Hoppers have LOST their Christmas Tree decorations so they have FOUND some carrots to use instead.

See I told you it was easy.

We have two fabulous sponsors again this time:

Happy 18th Birthday

My son asked me to make an 18th Birthday card for a friend who's party he is gong to this weekend.  He wanted it to be similar to one I made at the end of last year using the Frou Frou 'Two Of A Kind' stamp from Crafter's Companion - he certainly knows what he wants!

I coloured the image with a combination of ProMarkers and FlexMarkers and used papers from the Fro Frou collection.  The sentiment is a Woodware stamp and the scalloped border is a Clearly Besotted die - I love these dies, there are three different sizes in the set and this is the middle one.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Dream Valley Challenge 77 - Big Birthdays
Charisma Cardz Challenge 6 - Birthday Girls
Creative Knockouts Challenge 28 - Border Time

Birthday Cake

This is a little CAS Birthday card that I have made just for fun.

The cake images are a Lawn Fawn Stamp and die set, I coloured the cake with ProMarkers.  The paper is from the Echo Park Bundle of Joy collection, I used my Fiskars border punch to create the edge - I thought it looked a little bit like a tablecloth. The sentiment is from the same Lawn Fawn stamp set and the twine is from my stash.

See you Soon!

It's time for a fabulous new challenge at the House-Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge and this fortnight our theme is: Lost and Found chosen by Heather, this can be almost anything - Clothing Tag, Bottle Cap, Odd Earring, Cardboard packet, Foil, Empty jar/container, anything you could lose or find. Pop over to the House-Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge blog and see what the DT have created if you need some more ideas.

For my card I've used a fabulous image from Joanna Sheen's House-Mouse triple CD.  My interpretation of the theme is that I lost contact with a friend but now I've found their address and we're going to meet up.

My papers are from the Papermania Lucy Cromwell collection and the sentiment is from the House-Mouse CD.  I added a flower, button and twine from my stash.
